Episode 001: A Home Within Yourself

With angelyn bernardino

"What am I here for?" "Why am I on this planet?" These are two BIG questions that have guided me for years...and they are the reason this podcast exists.  These questions have led me to explore the home within me.

Part of finding our soul's purpose is to learn to surrender to the Universe's plans...which may look very different than we might expect. In this episode, I share an important lesson about surrender and share my journey to creating this podcast.

Also in this episode, I speak with Angelyn Bernardino, Reiki Master, Meditation Teacher, and Sound Healer about the importance of surrender and how the path to living her purpose has unfolded.

Episode Transcript:

Because at the end of the day, our purpose is like a small piece within the greater ecosystem that we live in. And so the more that we have people living in their purpose, living in this home within themselves, where they feel safe and they love themselves, how could that not ripple out into the rest of the world?

Welcome to the Path and Purpose Podcast. I'm your host, Dr. Cameron Martin.

I'm a spiritual coach and self-realization teacher with a passion for the sacred work of self-discovery. I'm the founder of Path and Purpose where I help spiritually awakening humans, light workers, old souls, and conscious leaders to discover their soul's purpose.

My entire life has been a journey of deep spiritual discovery. You could call me an eternal student of the universe, and although it's tempting to buy into limiting stories about ourselves, my journey has taught me that it takes courage to embody who we truly are. [00:01:00] I'm on this planet to empower people to discover their soul's purpose so that they can live fully aligned with their higher self and experience the life that they were meant to live with.

Clarity, passion, and fulfillment. Let me ask you, are you on a journey of self-discovery and know that there's something deeper calling you, something more for you that's beyond where you are currently? , do you wanna know with certainty what your soul is here to do? Well, I've created this podcast to give inspiration and insights so that the path to living your soul's purpose is less of a mystery and more of a discovery.

So if you're on your spiritual journey and you're craving the true peace and bliss that is your divine nature, my intention is that you'll be inspired by today's episode.

We are souls that come into bodies to have very specific experiences on planet earth.

This journey matters. When we get down here, we kind of forget, and then when we're thinking about our purpose, we get all sort of locked up. And it's like this big question mark of what am I here to do? And when we're out and about or dealing with life's problems, challenges, you know, um, The rat race, if you will.

We can sort of lose sight of it. And for those of us who are maybe awakening to our purpose, we can also feel really heavy about it. I know personally, myself, I've had more than a few experiences of feeling really heavy knowing that I'm on this planet for a purpose. I'm here for a reason, but I've gotta figure it out because it matters, or I'm wasting my life, right?

And then it becomes this pressure thing. So maybe you can relate, but for me, This was the journey. I actually began my career as a high school teacher, and I ended up [00:03:00] leaving teaching because it didn't feel aligned for me anymore. I was stressed, I was anxious. I knew I needed a change, and I uprooted my life, which was in Massachusetts and moved across the country to California.

now I got into a PhD program, and the PhD is what brought me there, or so I thought because along the journey, um, I had several awakenings along the way, and although I did complete, uh, my PhD I in leadership studies, I ended up going down a path that I absolutely did not expect. Um, my spiritual journey led me to, first of all build this business and serve people, uh, like yourselves who are listening to me today, but that really wasn't in the cards, or at least wasn't in my mind about what my future would bring.

I thought I would be a school principal, a superintendent, something like that. School founder. This was really the plan. That I had in place, but it wasn't the plan that the universe had in place for me. Um, I was challenged along the way to just accept and receive and allow what was coming to me. And one of the things that really sparked my journey was an astrology reading.

So I had my first astrology reading in 2018, and I was totally blown away. By how incredible the experience was, how deep it was for seeing me as a soul and my truth. Um, I never truly felt seen like that ever before. And it sparked something in me that just had me exploring astrology for a while. And then, then I ended up doing readings for people.

interestingly enough, learning that I was actually unlocking something that my soul knew from another time, another place. Cause honestly, it made no sense how fast I was learning it and how I could put all the puzzle pieces together, but somehow I was. . So that was a piece of my journey. But then [00:05:00] when I had my awakening in 2019, I became very present to the fact that I was here on this planet for a sole purpose, for supporting people in their spiritual journeys.

And I really didn't know how that was gonna look at all. In 2019, I received guidance to create my business, and so I did. And even along the way, that has changed forms . Many times, uh, this podcast is an example of just another thing along the way that I've surrendered to, and that I've allowed, , to happen in my experience.

So to bring us sort of full circle, this podcast is an expression of allowing, allowing the universe to work through me, allowing source energy, my higher self to work through me, because there are people like yourselves who are listening, uh, who need a message, uh, or need something from it. My guest today, Angeline, , A big [00:06:00] lesson in our talk really came from surrender and she shares, , her own experience of surrender and needing to let go and allow for her path to unfold.

But this has been very much the case for me too. This podcast is an expression of me allowing and letting something unfold. You know, my life today looks vastly different than I thought it would. A few years ago, I thought I would be living maybe in California or in Massachusetts building a school or running a school system, and I am doing no such thing right now.

You know, I work every single day supporting people in their spiritual journeys. I live in Hawaii. I have learned to trust and receive and trust and receive and jump. Off the ledge knowing that I will be, um, Protected along the way. And to be honest with you, it's been pretty scary. sometimes, but learning the art of surrender is truly the key to understanding or living our purpose.[00:07:00]

Um, it's when we are in these control structures, it's when we think we know what's happening in life. It's when we think we've had it figured out. When we kind of get into the ruts, it's when living our purpose is almost inaccessible to us. But when we learn to surrender, when we learn to let go of the need for it to be something, when we learn to receive and allow and actually flow with the universe, well, that's when our purpose can be revealed to us.

And so hopefully in today's episode, my conversation with Ang, you'll hear this as well, but in your own life maybe where can you afford to let go a little bit and allow, because as you allow things and surrender to the process, you can receive the messages that you need and live in alignment with your purpose.

Cameron: I am joined by Angeline Bernadino. excellent friend of mine, soul [00:08:00] sister sure. Um, and I'm very excited to be sharing time with her today. Angeline is a Reiki master tailor and certified meditation instructor. Actually, her and I met on a beach. Last year after she got stung by a stingray and I was kind of like, Hmm, if I'm ever gonna see this woman again.

And turns out become very close friends. But I would love, and I'm so happy to have you here with me today, but I would love to just say hello to you and if you'd like to share a little bit about you are with the audience.

Angelyn: Hi. Oh my gosh. I love you so much and I am so grateful to be here. Um, a little bit about myself. I come from a very corporate background, so I. I used to think that meditating, spirituality, all of this was very dumb. . I was not even one foot in the door. I was two feet firmly planted outside the door, peeking in and judging very hard.

Um, , [00:09:00] I broke out in hives as a producer. And I decided, okay, collecting crystals that are pretty is cool, but all of these dirty hippies that are telling themselves they're happy, which we actually know is works, um, actually look very happy too. . So what's good here? Let me figure it out. And now I teach at Unplug in Santa Monica.

I host my own private sound baths. I'm a private Reiki practitioner or reiki master. Um, And so yeah, here we are.

Cameron: And being in her presence is magic. And I hope that you all will feel this and hear it today. Of course. Um, together, so today we're talking about soul's purpose and it's kind of interesting, even our own path together, but I'm loving that we're gonna have this conversation, so I know you just shared. A bit about thinking, well, spiritual practice was not even beyond [00:10:00] woohoo was, uh,

Angelyn: It was just like, what are these people doing?

Cameron: something you totally didn't want.

So what really marked beginning of your spiritual journey then, or the beginning of your spiritual awakening?

Angelyn I would say they're two big waves. One of the first waves was I had just built my life around my career and my job. , uh, probably as a reaction to like how I grew up and all of this pressure around like being successful and like making sure my family of immigrants felt like they had accomplished something through all of their strife.

And then my entire body broke down and I went to my first reiki session. I had awful I b s I was covered in hives. I was just not, well, I was full of dis-ease, so that opened up my ability to like receive. Right. And I started attending sound baths with like my reiki master Queenie. Um, I was like, okay, receiving is cool.[00:11:00]

Um, , this is something that I'm open to. And then remembering bits and pieces of the past when I had grown up complaining about things and my aunts had been like, well, you chose this life , so suck it up. And I'm like, I'm eight . I didn't choose anything . So I would say that first wave of career breaking down my body, like opened me up to knowing I needed.

To receive something outside of like church, outside of things I was familiar with, I would say the second wave of really anchoring it in and being the facilitator and teacher that I am now came from being in a relationship where literally every single one of my fears was proven true. I was dating someone that like rejected me for my body, rejected me for my emotions, rejected me for the way that I thought across the board.

And so much of it was like, like, [00:12:00] why can't you love me ? And or like, why? What can I do to make you love me? And I realized like, that is not it at all. Like, , why am I accepting this? What about me is so, feels like I have to work for this? Let's reevaluate and let's see what's going on

Cameron: and when was this sort of

Angelyn: that.

Cameron: these awakenings?

Angelyn: The first wave came when I was a producer for, um, the Honest Company when I, in like 20 16, 20 17. I obviously very much ignored it, all the way because I decided to like be an art director at like 23 afterwards and like continue to focus on that career thinking that like, oh, now that I have this like knowledge, um, like I can keep, I can, it's sustainable to burn myself out now because I have something in my toolkit.

Um, , I was in that [00:13:00] relationship that I had talked about in 2019, like right before the world, like closed down . And so I spent a lot of time like working on myself. I eat prayed, loved through the end of 2019, and then in 2020, like at home by myself, I was like, I gotta find something to do. . and it was meditating.

It all came down to meditation. Um, the friends that I had gone to, like my first sound baths with ended up becoming like Reiki masters. So I took one of their programs and you anchor in, I think in that first reiki level one that everything is energy. And like the way that I started to perceive the world just started to change.

Um, and like quickly after that, I became like a reiki practitioner. And then where sound came into everything was I would see some of my Reiki clients and there's just something that we couldn't break through beyond just like breathing or like meditating. Um, and that's [00:14:00] where sound came in and it was like, okay, let's just flood your sensory system so that you have to let go.

You have to surrender to you. and not the sounds around you or the thoughts coming into your head, like, let's tap into this true observer state.

Cameron: So then your journey has very much been about learning to surrender you. Yeah. I mean, you were sort of getting indications of all these things that weren't you A body

stressed and knives and all these sorts of things and. and that's not really you. Um, but I'm really interested, especially for listeners who maybe aren't as familiar with this, but I'm interested in knowing how you understand what is Reiki, um, and why you kind of went into that.

Because, um, I'm always curious to know what sort of spiritual modalities have been very supportive for people. And I know for you

has been exceptionally important. So first of all, what is it and what was [00:15:00] the attraction for you?

Angelyn: Totally Reiki in its literal translation from Japanese into English means universal life force, healing energy. Um, I grew up really Catholic, so it was like, okay, praying to something beyond me. Easy , like trained and institutionalized in this. Yeah, cool. Except this time there's no like scary statue, awesome , and like, I can do this anywhere.

But it Reiki tied everything for me because I had already started and cultivated like a meditation practice, but it didn't have that energetic component to it. It was kind of just like clearing out my own mind and observing. And then Reiki was the tool that taught me how to like, . Okay. If we're clearing out space, nothing stays empty.

You immediately fill that space with what? With this universal life force healing energy. . And so it, it kind of gave me that balance in my meditation practice to be like, okay, when I'm meditating, I give myself permission to let [00:16:00] go of this. When I'm channeling Reiki, I give myself permission to receive this exactly where I need it, where I need it the most, for my highest good.

It made me so much more acutely aware of the intention that I walked into any space or scenario with. Because knowing now that that intention affects my energetic vibration, and that is the ripple effect into my life. Um, so I think Reiki really just anchored in everything is energy, and I get to decide what that energy radiating from me is.

Cameron: Hmm. That's beautiful. I mean, really, we do live in an energetic universe, but a lot of us are not really taught that when we were young, So our paths sort of twist and turn, and certainly yours has to get you to that

Angelyn: Yeah.

Cameron: Um, For How do you relate to this for people who might think of Reiki as like an energetic [00:17:00] massage?

Angelyn: Oh, I love that. So, yeah.

Cameron: true false.

Angelyn: I think it's okay. So I'm definitely talking about Reiki as like the self channeling thing, but when I'm seeing clients and like, how does it work in that way? Like, like every day we're brushing up against other energies, right? Like it's not just our own. If you hear my dog drinking water, I'm sorry,

we're not just brushing up against our own. So to me, , we can let 'em drink.

Cameron: That's right. There's energy all around us. He's part of it.

Angelyn: Yeah, there's energy all around us. Um, think about yourself as like a shiny coin, right? Like, I'm a gold necklace, but I exist in a universe that's filled with like if I'm be, if I'm a gold necklace being worn, I'm gonna tarnish over time. There's dirt that's gonna get stuck to me. Bears just sweat that I'm interacting with.

and it [00:18:00] doesn't change the fact that I am a gold medallion. A gold necklace. All it means is I've picked up other things from just existing. So to me, what reiki is energetically is when you take that chain, that gold necklace and you put it in kind of like, I dunno if you've seen those like centrifuge, um, necklace cleaners.

But it basically like you dip the necklace into liquid and it just

Shakes it so hard, that like the dirt and the grime like. Comes off and you pull the necklace out and you just remember, oh, it's a gold necklace. So to me that's like what Reiki is. Reiki is channeling that, like cleaning fluid, I guess like through your chakras.

Um, and shaking off any energy that's like not yours in my sessions, will focus a lot on your inner child. So you're coming back to you and you're kind of like letting go of any conditioning or any outside energy that people are putting onto you or like things that you've accepted because of your surroundings.

Um, I think reiki is like even more of a [00:19:00] beautiful human experience because I think. in a lot of like self wellness. We, I think we get stuck sometimes. It's really easy to get stuck in, like, me, me, me, me, me, like I'm healing, I'm doing this, but really like what is the whole purpose of healing and loving yourself?

It's to radiate that out into the universe so other people feel safe to do it. And Reiki is like that. When you're channeling it to someone, it's like, Universe put me aside, , I'm like, I'm good. Just use me so that this person can like channel double the amount of energy, healing energy to where they need it.

Like, and like that backwash is amazing. Like the energy's still flowing through you. You're gonna get a benefit, but it's not about you. It's holding space for that other person. And I think like that selflessness is like one of the most beautiful things about channeling Reiki to someone else.

Cam: So I'd like to ask you about a time where you felt really connected with your higher self. Um, maybe this was, uh, doing [00:20:00] reiki with people. I'm not sure channeling that life force energy, but describe to me

Angelyn Bernardino: Mm-hmm.

Cam: or times in which you feel truly aligned with your higher self.

What is that like?

Angelyn Bernardino-1: Mm. Well, two very recent times come to mind. Um, Like a couple of weeks ago, I was invited by this like lovely group of ninja warriors to host, um, to facilitate a sound bath for them in Joshua Tree for this retreat that they, um, had kicked off and I. Fell into my lap on like a Wednesday, meaning that on Saturday night I'd be in Joshua Tree Sunday morning, I'd have to be back in LA for Easter.

Um, knowing that Friday night I'd be going to experience something with you,

Cam: I know you were asking me like, should I do this? I [00:21:00] don't have a lot of time,

Angelyn Bernardino-1: I know. I was like, uh, . And I like, so I end up making it out there. I am driving through the desert, um, like two hours late. Actually, I'm not driving. I, everything kind of like worked out magically. And it's, when you think about it, it's not magic that's, it's being in sync. So, um, I, everything that I had asked for happened, like, I, um, had asked like, please make their way to be so that I don't have to drive out into the desert to meet strangers alone at nighttime. And like Chris, our really good friend was like back in town from Costa Rica and was like, I'll go with you . And like, yes, I can nap in the car. I had not been getting sleep that week. So that's something else that I asked for. Like, please allow me to sleep. , please gimme time to sleep. We picked up like candles on the way.

I found like these blankets [00:22:00] that I really wanted to use. Um, , everything worked out so perfectly without having like an A to Z plan, which is totally the opposite of like me in the corporate world. I get as a producer and project manager, that is my job to plan top down and have backups for A, B, C, D, and whatever.

And I think when it's your higher self in action and when you're in the flow, you aren't pressed about. Making room for things not working out because it will work out. Um, so we end up getting to Joshua Tree. Um, late , .

, and I show up. The Andreas who's hosting the retreat is so kind. He's like, no, I plan for things to go this way. We were welcomed with like open arms. . It was insane by all of these strangers, right? Asking us like, do you want dinner? Do you want plant medicine? Are you guys planning on [00:23:00] sleeping in your car?

If you're not, we have a tent set up for you. Just like, oh my God, what? ? Like, you guys don't want anything from me and you're giving this much, which now. Is not a surprise because that is what I've asked the universe for. And so to see it play out, I think is the only jarring thing or pleasantly surprising thing.

Um, and this is like where my higher self is at play throughout like this whole thing, right? So now I've allowed myself to immerse in this physical human experience with these lovely strangers. And initially we were only going to do like one sound bath. One sound bath with like no guided meditation.

Normally in a sound bath when I facilitate, I am doing a guided meditation as well. Um, but I was able to relax and take in the energy. So we ended up doing two, the first sound bath. Everyone had kind of like taken their plant medicine and just kind of like settled in from their day and [00:24:00] it was pure sound.

It's like 30 minutes of pure sound of everyone kind of like cultivating this energetic container inside one of these tents. Um, we took a break. I just like kind of felt the energy shifting as like plant medicine's kicking in. You hear everyone taking like a deeper breath. Um, And I was like, okay, as the facilitator, this is the place where I would like to take a break.

Let's give everyone like 15 minutes to tune into themselves, see where they're at, drink water, stretch. Um, and then I ended up talking to Travis, who is one of the other facilitators, and I said, I would love to do a second sound bath to dive in deeper. What I'm feeling is that we need to envision our warrior selves.

And we need to root that in across each of our chakras, like from your crown to your root. Um, and so we all K gather back into the tent and everyone is in this like energetic container of tuning into their warrior [00:25:00] selves. And it's like the most beautiful thing. People are like channeling light language.

People are channeling reiki to each other. People are like letting go of some things that they need to let go of. We all like look around the tent and we start off this second session with like, laughter. Um, it was just like one of the most beautiful things I'd ever experienced in community like that.

And it was like I found out about this three days ago and all I had to do was say yes because it felt good to me. Um, all I had to do was ask for the things that I wanted

Cam: Yeah.

Angelyn Bernardino-1: total flow.

Cam: magic

Angelyn Bernardino-1: Oh my God, so magical.

Cam: like you may not have ever really hung out with in the past old version of you.

Angelyn Bernardino-1: Oh, absolutely not. Absolutely not. Because I was working at my desk anytime that they were hosting something in Santa Monica. Anytime , these like Warrior Ninjas were hosting something, so [00:26:00] I. our paths would've never crossed. And if I was in that mindset of like being closed off or like being super skeptical about anything or that mindset of like, this is too good to be true.

I mean like, yes, be discerning, but at the same time, so bring a friend with you to the desert at nighttime, . But if it's calling you go, um, every, like one of my biggest agreements with the universe is everything works out so much more beautifully than I could ever. Ever anticipated. Um, and this was one of them.

And then I fell asleep in a tent next to people that I had just met, but that I had loved. And I woke up in Joshua Tree, one of my favorite places. Like everything was just so beautiful down to like the rock that I found to like pee behind like in the morning. Like everything from A to Z is just like beautiful.

Um, So that, that is flow. I think that is [00:27:00] surrendering to your highest purpose. Um, I would say like another time that I surrendered to my higher purpose was, um, today I put in my notice for my full-time job at one of the largest lobbying agencies in Washington, dc Um, . Last weekend I was on a trip with a friend and going to bed.

I, I couldn't stop thinking about work and I was like, I'm literally in the most beautiful place with like such a beautiful person, . And I'm thinking about signage, for like a building that I don't even go to. , like, why? And like that dis-ease within me. becoming more aware of what that feels like because now I'm more aware of what universal life force healing energy flowing through me feels like, made it so much easier to tap into the decision of like, this does not feel good.

So I'm walking away. I'm walking away from like a six figure salary, walking away from like an incredible [00:28:00] benefits package and like with love because there was a higher self at one time that knew that this is what I needed. But now listening to that same higher self, this is not one I need anymore. Um, so yeah.

Cam: a huge deal, uh, especially for someone whose spiritual journey literally came from the exhaustion that was corporate life. We'll call it that in simple ways. And an opening and opening and opening. My goodness, you've decided to go to the desert and see what the heck would happen with a group of strangers.

I know that weekend was so magical for you, but. , now you're at the place where, mm, this corporate thing doesn't work anymore. And not, not that maybe working in corporate America is a bad thing, but for you, your particular situation that doesn't serve anymore and that your path is asking for something else, and I relate to this deeply.

Of course you know this, and my listeners

Angelyn Bernardino-1: Yes, you do.

Cam: I also [00:29:00] walked away from a six figure job that. Actually liked, but my heart was not in it because my soul was calling for something much different,

Angelyn Bernardino-1: Mm-hmm.

Cam: uh mm-hmm. . And yeah, I mean, I left that job and a few weeks later was guided to move to Maui for goodness six and like uproot my life and do my business there.

And it was like, what? So this whole idea of

Angelyn Bernardino-1: Yeah.

Cam: but, but it's not trusting. , right? It's not just these random thoughts and ideas that come to you, although maybe they are. For me, they're not For me, it's like this inner, I wanna say a whisper, but I'm not hearing voices in my head. It's more like an inner feeling.

Although I do hear voices in my head, but not like this

Angelyn Bernardino-1: Not those.

Cam: uh, no, but it's like this inner knowing and like, I think sometimes it's when. we get so uncomfortable is when we finally, you know, make the move and make the shift, and trusting that [00:30:00] that's our guidance instead of like our ego going bonkers.

Although actually it could be both of those things. That's a big deal.

Angelyn Bernardino-1: Oh, absolutely. And like to your point of. , like, what is it that lets you know that it's your higher self versus your ego saying it? I, I've, I am, I'm such a stubborn person. , you know, this, um,

and it came, it comes down to, for me, can I see it in my mind's eye when I close my eyes? Can I actually envision myself in the desert, like with these strangers knowing the sound bath, taking plant medicine? Yes. . And when I allow myself to, um, envision that,

does that feel good? When I imagine myself there, and if any ounce of it feels good, if any [00:31:00] ounce of that makes me want to play, yes, let's do it. There's something there that I, I have to give myself permission to explore.

Cameron-1: So do you think that you've discovered your soul's purpose?

Angelyn Bernardino-2: I think so. I think my soul's purpose is to anchor in this love for myself, to live in this home that I've cultivated within my mind and my heart. and to share that with other people and to let them know that that's safe, to let them know that that's valuable and valid, and that from this home within yourself is truly where the rest of your world is created.

And that's truly what we have to share with others. Everyone's home within themselves is different, and that's like the beauty of being a human. So I think by loving myself and enjoying my humanity, I'm fulfilling my purpose by showing other people that that's safe and whichever tools that comes [00:32:00] through, right?

Whether it's reiki, whether it's meditation, whether it's sound, whether it's just like interacting with someone and like listening. Um, that's it. I think that's, that's my home in this universe.

Cameron-1: Hmm. Yeah. So what do you think it means to live with purpose? I know for you, you just told us what yours is, but what do you think it means for someone to live with purpose? I.

Angelyn Bernardino-2: I think when someone is to live in your purpose, to me means to give yourself permission to explore yourself. I think it means to give yourself permission. I. to find all of these different parts of you, and so you can come back to society, the rest of the world and be like, look at what I found, like now let's help you find yours.

Because at the end of the day, our purpose is like a small piece within the greater ecosystem that we live in. And so the more that we have people living in their purpose, living in this home within themselves, [00:33:00] where they feel safe and they love their themselves, how could that not ripple out into the rest of the world?

Cameron-1: Yeah, it does. And it's inspiring. I mean, it's literally why I do what I do. Right. And you've actually had the opportunity to work with me, uh, in astrology readings and in Q H H T to do some of that digging and finding out who you are. So maybe.

Angelyn Bernardino-2: Mm-hmm.

Cameron-1: a little bit there. What are some of the things you have discovered about yourself along the way, perhaps by doing your

Angelyn Bernardino-2: um,

Cameron-1: work?

Angelyn Bernardino-2: I think. Okay. . One of the things that I'll always say in class, um, is don't run away from any part of yourself. Even your insecurities, even your deepest fears. Like sit with those pieces in love, um, cuz they're part of you, right? And I think in R Q H H T session , we got to see some pretty fun and some pretty intense moments from past lives.

Really intense moments from past lives.

Cameron-1: Girl, she was [00:34:00] a princess. All of you. You're probably not surprised to hear it. I won't tell the rest of her story, but you know, she wants to tell you. This I

Angelyn Bernardino-2: Uh, I'd be happy to tell it, but may, do we keep it a secret? I don't know. Um, do we keep this, do we keep this? Yeah, I was, um, so it illuminated these parts of me, right? Like why am I stubborn? And that I've come to like, love my head, strongness, it's covered these parts of me. Like why, why do I love like this concept of like play as an adult Because maybe in certain lifetimes I didn't get to do that as much.

Um, and it's okay. And there's like space and time for you to like, be with all of those parts of yourself. You're beautiful the way that you are across every single lifetime. You've come here and you have a purpose. So give yourself permission to find it. And I think that's the biggest thing from Q H [00:35:00] H T, where it was like you can let go of all of these past stories that you've told yourself.

You can drop any timeline that's not working for you here in this one. Um, And that's where I'm at now. So thank you because you've unlocked a lot for me. I was not this person two months ago.

Cameron-1: No, a lot of shifted in two months. I can't wait to record with you. And then people will be like, where'd that girl go? Um, . Uh, yeah, it's true. And so much of what you just said too, it's why I do what I do, which is that we truly are infinite beings. that come inside of human bodies for whatever reason. All kinds of reasons, for an infinite number of

Angelyn Bernardino-2: Mm-hmm.

Cameron-1: But it's not insignificant to be down here. It's important, and because it is, because it was worth incarnating, because it was worth coming and having a life. It's worth knowing these aspects of who you are. That's how it guides you and points you in the direction of, you know, Who you truly are, and that's everything that I [00:36:00] stand for.

So, nice. Thank you so much. As we wrap up, I, I thank you for being my guest on this episode of the Path and Purpose Podcast. And I think for me, so much inspiration came. you inspired so much within me about, um, surrender and about allowing the path to unfold, even if it surprises you or perhaps especially if it surprises you, but learning to surrender and receive.

One of the biggest lessons that I'm taking away from this conversation, but honestly, one of the biggest lessons I've learned from just knowing you,

Angelyn Bernardino-2: Oh, I'm so grateful. I think I'm gonna cry. . You're gonna make me cry. Um, but you do the same for me. I think our inner children finally get to come out and play. Like it's safe. It's safe to be exactly who you are. It's safe. Like, and share that with the world. You have to. That's why you came here. Exactly what you said.

Cameron-1: Well, [00:37:00] there it is everyone. Thank you, Angeline.

Angelyn Bernardino-2: Love you so much. Thank you.

My mission on this planet is to support spiritually awakening humans in discovering their soul's purpose. And I know that if you're listening to this episode, discovering your purpose matters to you too. And I also know that sometimes it can feel like the spiritual journey is never ending, and that our purpose is some far off thing, but there's no need to waste precious time living without clarity and alignment.

Living with purpose can start right now. So if you're struggling to figure out what your purpose is, and as a result you're feeling frustrated, uncertain, or maybe even a little lost, then I invite you to stop spinning your wheels. Life is way too precious and you are too important. I've created an easy way for you to recenter and reconnect with your path.

I've created a sole purpose illumination session for people who are driven to know their soul's purpose.[00:38:00] So if this is you, I invite you to book a session.

You can find the link to book this session with me in the show notes.

I'm grateful to share this episode and time with you, my listeners. And I want you to know that our time together does not have to end here. I've also created an online community where spiritually awakening people can receive my support and guidance and connect with others as they discover their own unique paths to living their soul's purpose.

Look for the link in the show notes to learn more about the path and purpose, community support, connection, and inspiration for your journey. It's all inside.
