Tori: I guess I'm living my purpose but I'm looking for I'd like to find more depth to that I'd like to have a little more clarity on what exactly that like looks like and means I guess

Get ready to be inspired, encouraged and reminded of the magnificent being that you are. Join me for this episode of the podcast where we will explore the many paths to living our soul's purpose.

our intention really is one of the most powerful forces in the universe. [00:02:00] The law of attraction, most of the manifestation things that people know are totally based upon this idea. Of course. But really our mental energy is our life force energy and where we intend it is where we direct it is where this energy is going to flow.

Now, this is especially powerful to tap into when we're trying to manifest something. So we may, um, send energy to someone who needs physical healing. We may send. Energy into manifesting our dream jobs or our life partner and all these sorts of things. And that's all happening. Energetically. That's all happening at a frequency level.

And the thing about our intention,

Our intention moves energy purposefully. Whereas a lot of times, many of us are not acting in a purposeful way. Or there are other energetics that are [00:03:00] happening within us. That are maybe making this less clear. And so these can be patterns from our past. They can be old stories. They are belief systems within us that are seemingly sabotaging us left and right. All of these things.

Now in order to get clear and purposeful about where we're intending our energy. We also needed to get clear about where our energy is going, where maybe we were being sucked of our energy at a subconscious level that we're not fully aware of. And this is the power of shadow work. Now you may have heard of shadow work before in the past, but the idea of shadow work is that.

There are aspects of your being that are not known to you. They're not conscious to you. These are aspects within us that are within our shadow, if you will. And so maybe there's a hidden belief that you are unworthy. And so that keeps playing out in your lived experience. Or maybe [00:04:00] there's a belief that you carry that you're not even fully aware of.

That, um, limits you from achieving what you want in work or limits you from expressing yourself the way that would be most authentic. And so when we do shadow work, we really sit with ourselves and ask the question. When we're triggered by something, when the universe is giving us a catalyst for our growth and asking ourselves, what is that? What is the root of that? What's the belief here that I must be carrying.

In order for this thing to be within me. And so the idea of shadow work is bringing the darkness to light or bringing these things that we don't see within ourselves. Um, Into the light of consciousness. And this is a vitally important skill to be able to do on this spiritual journey, because otherwise your unconscious patterning is going to move your energy in ways that perhaps [00:05:00] you do not intend.

And so becoming a master of your reality requires that you do shadow work, that you look at the aspects of yourself that perhaps you don't want to look at. Y so you can have power over them. You can have conscious awareness over them. And learn more mastery within yourself so that you can live in alignment with your truth.

My mission on this planet is to support spiritually awakening humans in discovering their soul's purpose. And I know that if you're listening to this episode, discovering your purpose matters to you too. And I also know that sometimes it can feel like the spiritual journey is never ending, and that our purpose is some far off thing, but there's no need to waste precious time living without clarity and alignment.

Living with purpose can start right now. So if you're struggling to figure out what your purpose is, and as a result you're feeling frustrated, uncertain, or maybe even a little lost, then [00:06:00] I invite you to stop spinning your wheels. Life is way too precious and you are too important. I've created an easy way for you to recenter and reconnect with your path.

I've created a sole purpose illumination session for people who are driven to know their soul's purpose. So if this is you, I invite you to book a session.

You can find the link to book this session with me in the show notes

Track 1: Okay, so on this week's episode, I am with Tori Langlois. She's a mom to her favorite human on earth and engaged to the love of her life. She leads a power of eight group that's been very successful. She calls herself an empath. And is always practicing energetic boundaries. Uh, she's been on a spiritual journey for well over a year now, and her life has completely transformed during that time.

She can say now that she loves herself more than ever, and perhaps like other millennials, she's into house plants, tattoos, [00:07:00] books, meditating, and crystals.

So,

welcome, Tori.

Tori: Hi. Thank you for having me.

Track 1: You're so welcome. I'm so glad to have you here. Um, today, we'll just jump right in and we'll see kind of where we go with this. But I'd love to ask you the first question,

Tori: All right.

Track 1: uh, what really marked the beginning of

your

spiritual journey?

Tori: reflecting on this Yeah, so I've been reflecting on this a little bit

and I've always kind of been interested in it. Around the time when I got divorced in like 2019, I was like really into Buddhism. Like I wanted to like find that inner peace, but nothing was connecting, like it just wasn't. to leave My time, I needed to leave and like clear some stuff out before I was ready to really take on all the shadow work that was needed for me to make progress. So about of last year in April of last year, my partner's dad was really, really sick and I was out with your sister Becky, and we were out to dinner and[00:08:00]

she said my sister Kelsey is starting she really needs people to A coaching program and she really needs people to like test it out on You're obviously struggling like what do you think And I'm like sure why not Like I'll do anything at this point Cause I was very very anxious all the time and Obviously we were going through a really difficult time in our life so I started working with Kelsey and that's when everything really just turned around for me

and

like I did all the things the shadow work the reiki the just all the healing things that ended up being exactly what I needed to get into a better place in my life

Track 1: And so really then the catalyst for you was anxiety, uncomfortable in life,

just

not happy.

Tori: So yeah definitely So Mostly I'd say anxiety like just a constant like

tightness

in my shoulders all the time like worrying all the time I I couldn't get out of my own way [00:09:00] to understand that hm Like I hm to be worrying about I didn't need to be worrying about life cuz life is just gonna happen to see what that next I was always trying to see what that next thing that was gonna happen was and plan for it and be prepared for every outcome And I was so busy in my own head trying to do all that that I wasn't experiencing my life at all I was just experiencing what I thought could happen next in my life and it was exhausting

Track 1: Yeah, so the ego's trying to control things when you're not able to truly experience your being. ,

Tori: Mm-hmm

Track 1: right When the mind is like that. Uh, you know, a lot of people certainly are like that, and then sometimes they hit a rock bottom moment and where they throw up their hands and say, okay, I've gotta do something.

And so it sounds to me like that's what you did.

Tori: Hey Dad

Track 1: This episode's also gonna be very special if you haven't already heard, because now both of my sisters have been shouted out because, [00:10:00] and my connection here with Tori has to do with them . And so, uh, yeah, Kelsey was doing some work with you. Can you describe a bit of, okay, I'm at this.

Whatever, dead end or fork in the road, or I've gotta do something moment and you say yes to doing this work. And then what? What does that look

like?

Tori: I

Track 1: What happens for you?

Tori: like I reached out to Kelsey and I'm like this all about Like I've

What's this all about Like I've never done any of this type of work So the first thing we did was a reiki session went to her house She Um and I went to her house She didn't even have her space yet at the time so I went to her house for it and I was so unbelievably nervous like because I was already so like The airings so anxious every day anyway like going to something new with someone I had never met I was like oh my god I go in house and she You know So like I go in her house and she she's like stages me And [00:11:00] I'm like that's a good call That's smart Cause I'm like full of whatever Um you know and I laid on the bed and it was like I didn't stop talking the whole time I was so like Full of nervous energy And then at the very very end of the session she was at my root chakra and I just like started bawling on my way home I And on my way home I felt better than I had felt in as long as I could remember And I'm like oh maybe there really is something to this Um so then Um so then the course of the next six Over like the course of the next six months every single week we would meet she would either do some shadow reiki or gimme some shadow work prompts that we kind of talked through together meditations Uh guided meditations sound healings like you name it we kind of all um did it all She connected um someone to do a connected me with someone to do a past life regression Cause I was having a lot of like experiencing a lot of anxiety around[00:12:00]

sickness

So specifically So um we wanted to see where that was coming from since I don't have any like physical ailments in this life Um

Track 1: But you were

worried

about getting sick or being sick

Tori: I mean yeah there was like so much I mean we had lost my partner's dad to cancer so I was like I'm next

Like

for whatever reason that was the way my grief manifested on like every little like ache pain I was like I'm dying I'm dying I'm dying I'm dying so it turned out Um so it turned out that in my past life I had like massive survival guilt Cause I had been in a war I had this grief so I had this grief sitting on my chest all the time that really explained away I don't know that that really explained away why I was worried about getting sick but it was almost like I was guilty for not being sick.

So

Track 1: Hmm.

Tori: that helped me a lot that helped me a lot that lifted that like heaviness off my chest

Track 1: So, yeah. What was the experience [00:13:00] then of seeing a past life? I mean, some of the work that I do, um, with Q H H T is past life regression and you know, some people they might be familiar with that. They might think it's interesting. Some people might think that that's crazy woowoo. But really what was it like for you and what did perhaps that experience open up?

I mean,

I know you

kind of just said it, but.

Tori: a Yeah it, was again a new thing So at this point I was still pretty nervous I Um

was all I it was all um remote It was via

Zoom

and I just kind of got into a deep meditation and sort of gently like landed in this like vision of my past life where my gosh I feel so nervous like I I'm like oh my gosh I feel so nervous Like I don't know if that's me or if that's my past life but it turned out that it after a war and It was so crazy because like I was crying because I opened the door to my house worried that my family might have been gone But [00:14:00] like I was a man in my past life My wife and kids were there and like we all hugged and I had this like immense feeling of grief and relief at the same time Cause like I had lost so many friends in war and then I was so relieved that my the war and then I was so relieved that my family was okay and then you know she just kind of talked and then you know she just kind of talked me through it And then we um I guess me back out I guess Pulled me back out of it and I felt in my chest that I I had had like a heaviness in my chest that I couldn't explain for years And then she's like let me just clear that out for you and just pulled it off my chest and it was like oh my God Like it was a physical

release that

I could feel

Track 1: Yeah. So the experience of seeing that allowed you to understand. Well, I guess more of your multidimensionality, but knowing that your soul has other experiences, other times, places, that sort of thing, and so that brought you a level of consciousness [00:15:00] of like, yo, that's not mine. I can let

that go.

Tori: Right

Like I don't Yeah definitely Like I don't need that kind of clo She closed the loop for me too Cause I guess it was a a recurring scene in my

lives

Track 1: Yeah. Um, yeah, and this is very common, uh, in my practice working with people. Um, when they see and understand patterns of past lives. You can almost have, well, More compassion for yourself too, and the experiences that you might carry over. I know personally for me, I've had a lot of, we'll just say residual energy or residue from.

My past lives as a priest. I mean, I've seen many of my past lives. I've seen them either in journeys or in Shavasana. It happens quite often, um, for me. But, uh, yeah, somebody was asking me the other day, kind of an interesting question, , I guess you answered it for already, but what patterns and past lives have [00:16:00] like impacted you the most?

And for me, hands down, it's the life. Lives as a priest, ,

Tori: Hmm

Track 1: uh, the lives of being alone, but needing to be in service, the lives of, you know, celibacy and not being able to be in a relationship. Right? And then money. Anyway. These are some of the patterns that like, hmm, I've had to work through in this lifetime.

And they don't make sense otherwise. But sometimes when you have experiences like these, you realize, oh, Okay, well maybe that's not mine to carry anymore. Right? I am an infinite being with many expressions, many lives, but sometimes we carry a pattern that we don't really need in this lifetime anymore.

And so when we become aware of it, it can be exceptionally healing. So, Yeah, I see that all the time with my clients. Well, that's really cool that that was an experience for you. I wanna circle back a little bit to how you understand shadow work, because one of the things [00:17:00] that, um, is spoken about, but sometimes people don't know what this at all means when you're at the beginning of a spiritual journey, is, um, shadow work.

So how do you understand that and what did it look like for you?

Tori: That's fair

I did it with Kelsey Um because I did it with Kelsey most of the time It was like prompt to kind of get us like okay what thing are we gonna work on And then it was like we picked The trigger and then Um and then you trace it back right to like so I had this need

to

try to anticipate what was going to happen so I could be prepared for all outcomes okay when's the last So like okay when's the last It was exhausting

so tiring And like I would have these moments where I'd be like in my head being like oh man like I wonder what's gonna happen And like how's that gonna go I'm like my son would be trying to talk to me or like my partner would be trying to talk to busy Like I'm thinking about something And was like that was kind of an I was like that was kind of an aha moment for [00:18:00] me where I was like mad at them for interrupting me perseverating on things I didn't need to be thinking about So you know I Um need And So So you know I had that need And so it's like okay When's the last time that you felt that way What about another time you felt that way and like back to like all the way to childhood When's the first time you remember feeling that way And me being like my mom was really unpredictable with her moods And I always felt like I needed to behave a certain way or try to prevent that outcome from happening So I was really sensitive to like physical cues I was really sensitive to tone of voice and just trying to like make sure that I didn't do the thing and like say the wrong thing do the wrong thing and like anticipate that outcome So for me it wasn't going back to that moment in my childhood and accepting that part of myself and forgiving for not knowing Stop like child for not knowing better And to meditate every time I was able to meditate on that and kind of connect with my inner child who had those feelings [00:19:00] feelings

behavior for me like the behavior for me like really significantly

decreased

or even went away Like I didn't have that need to do that anymore because I had gotten to like the root of it So that's

Track 1: Hmm.

Tori: I did it So that's

how I did it

Track 1: Yeah. And for people who maybe are not familiar with the term shadow work, I mean, I don't know if there's really one definition, but this idea that we, you know, are multidimensional beings, but there are aspects of us that are in the shadow, so to say, aspects of us that we don't wanna look at, we don't wanna see, we don't wanna feel, right.

It could be from a moment in childhood, it could be from whatever, and. Generally, there's subconscious patterns that you know, most of us, well, we're not conscious of until, as you beautifully said, a trigger of curse, right? When we feel like we're being triggered or something is happening and we're feeling whatever, anger, [00:20:00] irritation, frustration.

Contraction in the body, right? Any of these kinds of things, when we're triggered, there's actually something energetically that's in our being, right? Um, and it's like our consciousness is trying to show us something in the subconscious what is there, right? So the idea of shadow work is bringing, it's an introspective practice, can do it many ways, of course, but, um, I'm really looking at what is that?

What is that pattern in either the subconscious or otherwise? Because if you don't understand what is present in your shadow, it will continue to play out in your life and you won't have any sort of, uh, control. Not that you need to control it, but you won't have, it'll run you wild basically. Um, And so getting real about, oh, this is a pattern, or this is how I be.

And a lot of times, you know, there's a lot of emotional charge to shadow work because we don't wanna see that we [00:21:00] think we're worthless or that we think that we're not, you know, capable or whatever it might be. Um, so that work can be very challenging, of course, but it's such a necessary, uh, piece of.

Spiritual journey. Cause if you don't understand how you wound up the way you are,

Tori: Right

Track 1: there's no empowerment there, right? So, um, yeah. Is the shadow work done

Tori: Never

Track 1: Not exactly. There's always aspects of us, right, that will become present or aware. But, um, perhaps you've found that in your journey though. The better that you get at it, the better at being with the different aspects of yourself as it arises. The easier it is to process, it's

not as

charged. It's, you know,

Tori: that's for sure Like

recognize the triggers and it's a little you just recognize the triggers and it's a little bit easier to be like me see if can trace this back real quick hold on let me see if I can trace this back real quick

Track 1: Yeah. [00:22:00] Oh, what's that? I'm feeling worthless right now. Oh, I'm feeling a sense of fear in my body, which by the way is very empowering versus, you know, oh my God, I think I'm gonna die. Hold on a second. I'm experiencing fear in my body. Fear about what? Oh, fear of death. Why do I have a fear of death? Right. It becomes, um, when you can really embody that, you can have a lot more compassion for you.

Tori: right

Track 1: And your experience of life. Um,

Tori: Yeah

Track 1: okay, so tell me then on your journey of all of this inner work, self discovery, a time or a number of times where you felt really connected

with your higher self.

Tori: of a good

Okay I thought about this I thought of a good couple examples loved this one Um

Kelsey

loved this one laying in bed so I was like laying in bed with my fiance cause don't really and we were not arguing cause we don't really argue but like just some tension there right are you okay And uh he's like are you okay And I'm like I don't know And I [00:23:00] got up and I was sitting in the bathroom and all of a sudden I hear a voice Cause this is like the first time that like one of my guys dropped into my head And I'm like sitting there and I hear like what do you mean you you're not you don't know if you're okay Like you are

that

bitch What is happening What is happening and you know it's like you are okay and you know it's like you are okay Like you're more than okay You're good you're great And I was like I went back oh my God I am I went back in the bedroom and I said to him like I'm great I'm more than okay And we're great And I'm great and like And I just felt It's all good And I just felt like so connected to whatever this was that I was like thinking and feeling like I was like a hundred percent this is true Like what do I mean I don't know Of course I know so that was really cool Um so that was really cool Well exactly It

Track 1: The heck

Tori: Well exactly It

was kinda like duh like it was this like just obviously you're okay so like [00:24:00] and then this year so like over the course of this year really I've lost a lot of um friendships that I thought were like kind of in it for the long haul Um Um so you know the first one was kind of rough The second one was a little more of me being like okay I know I didn't do anything And then by the third one I was just like completely accepting completely embraced it Like was so cool to see it it was so cool to see coming further into alignment Me just coming further into alignment with my higher self and trusting the universe and knowing

that

anything that's happening is for the better because it has been every single time So who am I to question it and just to kind of be able to let it flow like that was very empowering very empowering was really really cool to just it was really really cool to just

sit there and have someone be like I don't want to be your friend anymore [00:25:00] And I'm like yeah I want you to do what's best for you know and to have be You know and to have them be like I don't feel like I can be myself with you And I'm like okay Like I'm sorry that you feel that way and not take any of it and like put it down in like my self worth of like oh this person thinks this about me and that makes me like worth less I'm like no that's not on me That's I that's on you I can't make you feel anyway

Track 1: it's, yeah, and it's very empowering because really what you're describing is an expression of unconditional love, even though for some people that seems harsh, it's not because if, and I almost want to commend you and recognize that, cuz that is the opposite of being controlling.

Tori: I

Track 1: Which was making you sick beforehand, right?

Or driving you nuts. Quiet before. But you're also describing a phenomenon that does happen a lot for people, um, as they move through a spiritual awakening because as you shift and change, which you do pretty [00:26:00] dramatically when you're in it like you've been, Your frequency shifts, what you think about the way you see the world, all of that will shift.

And because your frequency changes, sometimes the people in our lives no longer match that frequency or even match what we are becoming. We're no longer attracted to it, and we can literally push it away. Um, And I think for a lot of people that can be, um, one of the most challenging aspects of a spiritual journey is first of all, letting the old aspects of you die, but also the relationship that other people have to that old aspect of you.

Sometimes they come with you, sometimes they evolve, and sometimes people just fade out and. All of that's okay. I think sometimes with my clients, some of the hardest is when you're in a partnership that's doing that. You know, when you're with a partner who doesn't really get the journey that you're in.

And so that can be particularly [00:27:00] challenging. But

have you

found that at all?

Tori: like I feel like I am for the first time in my life in a partnership where I was finally safe enough to start exploring this

I

where I

am don't think I would be where I am if I wasn't with Pat This like put me

Track 1: Beautiful.

Tori: This finally put me

in a position in my life where I felt like I can do anything and I can be anything and I wanna be better for him and I wanna be better for my son So like the opposite of So like the opposite of

any other relationship A hundred percent It was

ruined

Ruined it they'd be this one

Track 1: They would be done

Tori: they'd be gone Oh yeah

Track 1: They'd be real gone.

Tori: Oh yeah

Track 1: Yeah. They would not have lasted that. Um, I'm curious then, do you think that you are living your purpose

at

this time?

Tori: rating where I had a human design rating where she said that my purpose is to have experiences [00:28:00] and share them with other people being asked to do So being asked to do this felt a little like I'm Okay I guess I'm purpose but I guess I'm living my purpose but I'm looking for I'd like to find more depth to that I'd like to have a little more clarity on what exactly that like looks like and means I guess So I don't know

Track 1: Mm-hmm.

Tori: for sure that I'm

fully in my purpose yet I think I'm still in

a discovery

phase

Track 1: Well, and you're also saying yes to experiences like this one, so

that's

pretty great.

Tori: I say yes whenever I

Track 1: I am curious, so you, you said that you, well, as part of your purpose, and I imagine you're not just listening to this random woman telling you something, that actually there was a level of resonance for you.

Um,

I'm hoping

Tori: No they're

Track 1: uh, but.

Okay. [00:29:00] You sharing your experiences with others, um, but also it sounds to me like at least how I know you, you create experiences with others. So I actually met you through a Power of eight group that you were hosting. So I had known a little bit about this in the past, but not much. And so I'm curious, and you can speak generally, we don't have to speak about the specific one we met in, um, But I'm curious, first of all, what is the power of eight group?

What are you doing in there? How are you hosting it? What kind of space are you holding and how did you

get to that

Tori: I know that I was So I don't I know that I was introduced to Power eight through Kelsey me borrow the book or I bought the book She let me borrow the book or I bought the book after she told me about it Power Eight is basically this scientist and she's like the wrote a book and she's like the first line of the book always like grabs me because she's like I started doing this research to disprove this theory and now I have write this book to tell you all that it's true to write this book to tell you all that [00:30:00] it's true Like that?

cuz I'm like I loved that?

cuz I'm like yes Like she was biased in the other direction and got proved wrong Like that's so cool Um so she did all these studies and experiments with like plant leaves all the way up to humans send and had people send intentional thought through meditation to an object a marked difference noticed a marked difference between that and like the control what it's called Um I think that's what it's called would be two plant leaves So you know there would be two plant leaves and photons Plants give off photons visible under a certain kind of light So she would say send a light to this one and then have one that they weren't sending attention to and this one would look completely different than the other one small groups of five to 10 So she started these small groups of five to 10 people They called it Power of eight just to send healing spots to their attendee And um started just getting [00:31:00] incredible results So to do something wanted

to do something I was feeling Kelsey was telling me like weekly like you're meant to like have a group lead a circle have a group whatever And I you know Becky she was like I you know Becky she was like you're gonna do it no So no

Track 1: Yeah. For all of you listening, that is how my sister Becky works, . It's like,

yeah, that's right. Do it

Tori: I'll get the so she's like I'll get I'll get the people Basically you know we worked together we found our little group

and

I'm like is everybody interested in this And they're like Yeah.

So we started meeting just once a month and anyone who needs intention we will actually send it actually I joined the To back up a little bit I joined the Power of Eight group

for

a few months just to get an idea and a feel of what it was like And then I said I wanna start my own I'm ready to [00:32:00] branch out here I'm ready to branch out here So um running it better than I like I like running it better than I like being part of it cause I don't really follow

Track 1: Yeah

Tori: cause I don't really follow

all the power of eight rules to a t like that group did Like it's kind of like Sure let's try it You know what's the worst thing that's gonna happen It's not gonna do the opposite it just might not work

Track 1: So it's really a group then of, of people that come together and it's about the power of harnessing intention, right? To one specific need. I won't go into details, but I know that the, the group that I joined with you was about, it was a health related issue. And so our intentions were about seeing this person, you know, healthy and at ease and in light and that sort of thing.

And then we held that space for. Uh, set amount of time. We were all kind of meditating and intending and, um, it really was quite powerful. But here's the thing, like we are [00:33:00] very powerful beings and we create, I mean, infinite, literally, but we create through our thought alone, things come into physical manifested form from thought the world itself.

Um, The Bible says that God created light. Well, light is thought, ,

Tori: Yeah

Track 1: or thought is light. It's frequency, right? So it all started with a thought. So, um, yeah. That's really cool. So do you think that that's something you're going to

continue

to expand upon?

Tori: Yeah Yeah I love doing it I'm always blown away Cause at the

end we'll share what we saw in our meditations and the amount of times that someone's like I saw that too Or like Yeah. me too It's so cool Like it's just we are like of one mind when we do it and it is just So I definitely So special So I definitely plan on doing that for as long as everybody wants to do it

Track 1: Yeah Um, my. [00:34:00] Well, you already know this, but one of our first guests, my first guest was Angeline and she was actually also part of that group that was interesting. Okay. When we met. Um, but when she teaches her sound meditation classes, she always talks about when you speak to plants, right. I love you. I love you.

I love you. These plants grow huge. I hate you. I hate, I hate you. These ones die, literally. And there's studies with water. I forget the gentleman's name. You know, when we bless our water and send love frequency into it, like this is not just some woowoo thing or actually scientific proof that something is happening and it's happening at the level of

frequency.

So yeah, that's

Tori: I love when woowoo and science come together and everyone's like what thing My

Track 1: Yeah, well that's really the future is spirituality and science. They're not mutually exclusive. In fact, I would argue that some of the biggest challenges we have in the world is because we consider to think in duality. But [00:35:00] I believe humanity will shift its consciousness, and I don't know if which comes first, chicken or the egg here, but we will evolve tremendously when science end.

Spirituality are understood as one, uh, because you know the sages in spiritual practices in ancient India and ancient Egypt and all these other things they were describing and explaining phenomena that we know as spirituality and physicists are doing the same thing from a different perspective.

Tori: They'll come together

Track 1: so yeah.

Tori: They'll come together

Track 1: What do you think is maybe the biggest barrier to living your purpose or generally

people

living their purpose?

Tori: I feel

I mean it's the same answer for both I feel like the biggest barrier is always you yourself getting like yourself getting in your own way if you get out because if you get out of your own way [00:36:00] everything else falls into place

everything else falls into place If you have the trust in the universe If you have the trust in the universe that's all you need But if you Don't.

and you're roadblocking yourself it's never gonna

come to fruition

Track 1: So what would you share with someone if maybe, if you think yourself a year ago or something, , you're talking a little bit like love and light and trust the universe and get out of your own way, and somebody's sitting here going, uh, yeah, but like how , or, that sounds nice, but what does that really mean?

What advice would you

share?

Tori: Uh

meditate meditate hear so often like I hear so often like oh I can't meditate I just think the whole time And it's like I just think the whole time like then think the whole time you know

um

yourself permission get I guess give yourself permission it to explore it. Because if you shut it down [00:37:00] immediately, then it's never gonna be anything. So at least Lead be open to it. Lead with, yes.

That's my tagline lately. try it Um, try a sound healing try it, try a sound healing. That's a good, I think all this stuff lead in to all this stuff. a gateway truck It's a gateway truck.

Track 1: I, yep, I agree. Cause it's music and it's frequency and it's vibration. And it's funny cuz. Yeah, I agree with you. It's like the gateway drug. You won't realize

what's

going on, how powerful it is, but it's

Tori: And then you leave and you're like oh my God I feel like light and airy. And then you want to do another one, and then you're like, what else is out there?

Track 1: I think it's powerful to, you know, the sages that, what's the key to knowing yourself? What's the key to knowing God if you wanna call it that, or the universe of source oneness, whatever it is, meditation and. I offer to people and [00:38:00] my clients that meditation is not about doing something. It's actually quite the opposite.

It's about not doing, it's about just being, but that meditation is the opportunity to be with yourself, to be connected to your higher self. To just be in communion with that which you are. That phrase is good. I'm gonna use that again. Uh, for all of you. Watch out. Watch out. It's gonna be all over my

marketing

soon.

Tori: You're welcome I live here for it

Track 1: but really, I think about meditating as just hanging out with my higher self. That's how I see it. And sometimes there's a lot of conversation, there's a lot of thinking that's happening. And sometimes it's just chill. Like I'm staring at a flower and nothing's really happening. I'm just watching it moving in the wind.

And that all of those expressions and anything in between them, they have to be okay. You know, people think that meditating means I gotta empty my mind, but that's not necessary. In fact, it's [00:39:00] that's you're trying to do

when you really just have to be. Just chill out. You can chill on the couch with your friend and watch Netflix.

You can chill in your mind, or not even your mind, but you can chill in your being

with your

higher self just as

Tori: Hi guys are my besties I say it all the time like I hang out with my besties.

Track 1: Yeah, exactly. Oh, I hear you. All right, so the last question I wanna ask is, what do you think it means to live with purpose?

Tori: I think

Hmm

in a flow state I think just being in a flow state, everything that comes along you accept everything that comes along. You're not trying to control anything. You're not trying to fight anything, and you're your just what comes into your path, you know, you can or not intuit whether or not. It's in alignment with you and you can kind of just flow through, and you'd fulfill your I think just by doing that, you'd fulfill your purpose because it would be so natural.

It would be so [00:40:00] easy Exactly.

Track 1: Yeah. Well, your path would be revealed before you. Right. We don't have to know everywhere we're going. We just

need to

know the step right

Tori: Yes. That's what I've learned.

Track 1: Hmm. Beautiful. Well, thank you so much for sharing this time with me today,
