Episode Transcript:

Michael: Woman on the subway. Uh, said to me, boy, you don't look good. She doesn't, she didn't know who I was. She says, I think you need this book. And she handed me a copy of a book called A Return to Love by Marianne Williamson, and it is a reflection on a Course in Miracles. This woman gave me the book. I looked at it, I looked up, and she was gone.

Humanity's Ascension is calling for courageous souls like yours. Together we rise, aligning with our higher selves and embracing our divine nature. Get ready to be inspired, encouraged and reminded of the magnificent being that you are. Join me for this episode of the podcast where we will explore the many paths to living our soul's purpose.

[00:02:00] We're moving through a period of time on planet earth. Of accelerated Ascension. Frequencies on this planet are shifting. They're changing us and our DNA and we're shifting into higher frequencies. If we choose to harness that energy. The thing about Ascension though, or another way you can think about this is enlightenment, right? People for thousands of years have been seeking enlightenment or seeking Nirvana or.

Seeking higher states of consciousness. The thing about all of that, and very often is that people are thinking about leaving the body that somehow seeking outside of ourselves or releasing the spirit out of the body is, is enlightenment. Except it's not, what's actually shifting. What's actually changing.

[00:03:00] Spiritually when we're on that path is our physical bodies. Our bodies are able to hold different frequencies, new frequencies, higher energies, and so on this planet right now, we're actually seeing this happening inside of people's bodies. And it can look like sickness or illness when actually their Ascension symptoms, their symptoms of your body purging.

Different frequencies, older frequencies dis-ease trauma from the body so that you can hold higher frequencies. You're going to hold more light. And the thing about this spiritual path. And if we're thinking about enlightenment or seeking enlightenment in any way, it's a body or rather it's a function of the body.

Because the body is a creation of our consciousness. Think about that. We are souls in a body, came to planet earth to have an experience on the planet. , we have a reason for being here. Constantly trying to get out of our bodies and ascend or [00:04:00] transcend or go beyond or escape is not what spiritual Ascension is about. In fact, it's about bringing more of who we are, our higher self, our soul, our essence.

The essence that is love. Into our bodies so that we can have that and work with those frequencies here on a planet earth. Now to bring this to a less conceptual space in a more practical space. On my spiritual journey the most powerful and potent tools that I've had to really, , Understand more of myself spiritually, but also start to ground more of my higher frequencies into my body.

Is yoga. . And in the yoga practices, when we're very aware of the body. In space and time I'm aware of sensations in the body. If we're doing things like breathwork or Korea, for example, All of these things, help us to understand our bodies and bring us back into [00:05:00] the body.

And so if you're searching for your soul's purpose, if you're seeking a higher states of consciousness, understand that that happens in the body, coming more into the body and anchoring more of our light energy into the body. I highly recommend the practice of yoga or chigong or anything that helps you to come back into the body.

A simple practice of acknowledging or breath. Or noticing the sensations of your body against the chair that you're sitting on. Or feeling wind on your skin. All of these, bring us back into the present moment where all things happen and in the present moment, miracles exist. Uh, miracles are actually quite common and they happen all around us, but if we're not in the body and if we're not paying attention to what's really happening around us, and if we're not feeling what's happening around us at a deep level, we can miss miracles that are happening around us [00:06:00] all the time.

And so if it's important for you to align with your higher purpose, to continue to seek more spiritually than I advise you to consider how you might bring more physical practice into the body. And I'm not talking about running marathons, unless you want to do that. I'm talking about practices that really help you to feel, to feel emotions, to feel.

Aches and pains to feel sensations, practices that help you to come into your body so that you learn how your body is communicating with you. If you want to be able to understand energy from higher dimensions, if you want to be able to channel, if you want to be able to know with certainty what your intuition is telling you.

If you want to know what your higher self is trying to send you a message. And then you've got to come into the body. You've got to master your body. And not like overcome it, but learn. How it's communicating to you. And the only way we do that, It's coming back [00:07:00] into the body. So in today's episode, we'll talk a little bit about this and about the power of miracles that are happening around us all the time.

Track 1: On this episode of the Path and Purpose Podcast, I am here with Michael Perrera. Michael is a spiritual teacher, life coach and meditation guide. At 19 years old, he moved to New York City and ended up on Broadway working alongside an array of theater luminaries. Unfortunately, Michael didn't withstand this extreme pressure of showbiz and suffered a nervous breakdown, which sent him into his dark night of the soul where his spiritual path began.

His journey led him to study at the Klu Center of Yoga and Health at other healing modalities, including the Alexander technique. Yoga, breath work, psychology. And now he's focusing on helping others become the star in their own lives.

 So welcome Michael.

Michael Pereira: Thank you, Cameron. [00:08:00] Thank you for having me, sweetheart.

Track 1: You're very welcome. So let's get into it then. What marks the beginning of your spiritual journey or your journey of spiritual awakening, as I kind of already alluded to it, but you tell us.

Michael Pereira: so I was living in New York City. I was an aspiring, uh, performer, Broadway performer.

Track 1: I.

Michael Pereira: And, um, because of, you know, I, how do I say this? Show business is, can be challenging, can be hard, it can be, um, not, uh, the most loving and gentle place. And I entered into show business with a really big, open heart. I don't say that, um, you know, lightly. I, when I was a young, younger man, it saved my life. I found theater and it was a refuge for me. It was a safe [00:09:00] place for me. So I went into the world of professional theater with that same thought, that it was a safe place for me, that I could be who I was, I could express myself as as I wished. And that was not the world of professional theater in New York City. And, um, so. Through a series of events, uh, around, um, a broad, a specific Broadway show, uh, I had a nervous breakdown. I felt that I was not good enough for the theater. I thought I was too fat, too thin, too tall, too short, too masculine, too feminine. It was like I wasn't enough in any situation. I was always, um, trying to figure out [00:10:00] what each person wanted, what each casting director wanted, what each, uh, choreographer or director wanted, and I forgot what I wanted and who I was. I was trying to live out other people's dreams, not live out mine. So I had a nervous breakdown. So, There was one triggering event. I mean, there were many events, but there was one big, uh, trigger and I felt, I literally felt myself falling apart. I couldn't stop crying. Uh, eventually I wouldn't leave my apartment. I would, uh, smoke a pack of cigarettes a day and drink. God knows how much Diet Coke and. I remember, I mean, thank God it was only that it could have been a lot worse. And I remember, um, looking, my apartment in New York City, [00:11:00] uh, was in Hell's Kitchen and I could see the New York City skyline and I remember looking out and I could feel this kind of dark cloud darkness coming up over me. It actually gives me some tears right now. And I. I could, I said out loud to myself, and I know when I talk out loud and nobody's around, it's serious. And I said out loud, oh, I'm in trouble and, uh, I need help. I didn't know what that was, but I could feel it about a day or two later. Uh, random woman on the subway. Uh, said to me, boy, you don't look good. She doesn't, she didn't know who I was. She says, I think you need [00:12:00] this book. And she handed me a copy of a book called A Return to Love by Marianne Williamson, and it is a reflection on a Course in Miracles. This woman gave me the book. I looked at it, I looked up, and she was gone. I devoured that book. I wept through the book. I felt that Maryanne was talking directly to me, and about a week or so later, um, I had the book. I was, I was carrying that book as like a, a life vest almost. It's actually so sad to me. Um, I was carrying it like a life vest and someone said to me again on the subway, Oh, she's talking today, like pointing to the book, saying she's talking today at town hall. You should go. And I was like, okay. They said, oh, it's like at [00:13:00] seven o'clock I knew exactly where town hall was and I went and there she was. There was Maryanne Williamson talking about miracles and the light inside of yourself and uh, love. And I spent the next hour and a half or two hours of the lecture weeping. I had my book, and I waited to the very end to meet her. Uh, I per, I happened to know Marianne. Now I, I call her, I call her a dear friend in many regards. Uh, a spiritual godmother. She does not remember this. Um, But I came up to her and I said a little something, I don't recall, something about my parents. And uh, she put her hand on my shoulder and she says, oh my dear, dear, one, you have mud in your wings. We have to clean them out so [00:14:00] you can fly. And I remember, uh, I remember I was like, I don't think, no, there were no truer words to that. I felt better in some ways and then felt worse in other ways. After reading this book and, and, uh, meeting Maryanne and finally one day I said to myself, there's got to be a better way. I gotta get out of here. This New York City is not it. So I called my parents and I said, uh, I need to come home. And surprisingly to me, they were like, come and they

could tell there was something wrong with me but didn't know what, and they just let me be. I remember I slept like probably 12, 14 hours a day for two months. [00:15:00] I remember the day I was drinking coffee and my mother came down and she said, Oh, you look better today. And I was like, yeah, I do. I, I feel better. Um, then I was going weekly to, um, to see my high school theater director and chat with him. Uh, the two of them, it's a husband and wife team, but this particular day I was with Gary, his name is Gary Scarpa, and he. Had just come back from this place called Kripalu. And he said, it's wild. And they take you away. Your watch, your wallet, your phone, your keys, they cover up the clocks. They never know what, you never know what time it is.

And then you talk about your parents and you meditate and you do yolk, and you do this, you do that. And as he was saying this, I was like, I have to do that. I ha I have to do it. I have to do it. And a month [00:16:00] later they happened to have one. And I went and did it, and it was like what I would say, like the chipping away of this like facade, you know? And it just, I started understanding this spiritual and psychological reasons why I was suffering so much. And then, um, then I was all in. From that moment forward, I was all all in and I went to shamans and healers and gurus and, uh, more corson miracles and all of Maryanne's things and, uh, all of it. All of it. That's how it

started.

Track 1: That's how it started. So, uh, a real moment of feeling like you've lost yourself not even knowing where your center is. Right? Um

Michael Pereira: I did, no, I, [00:17:00] I absolutely did not know who I was. I,

I, I had a mem, there was like a glimpse of who I was. I say there was, even in the darkest, darkest of moments, it was always just a little flicker. Still alive, but it was so deep, it was so buried. I was so trying to live out everybody else's, uh, preconceived notions or ideas of who I should and should not be because I wanted to succeed so badly that I was going to do whatever it took to do it. And it

just didn't work. It didn't work for me.

Track 1: Yeah, because you lost yourself in the process, but, well, actually not true. You've kind of found yourself in the process, did you not? Yeah, so you know, [00:18:00] I totally resonate with the idea of a book that starts a whole bunch of things. Because for me that book was a cart toles, the Power of

Michael Pereira: Yeah.

Track 1: And then I read that book like probably many of the listeners.

I was like, whoa,

Michael Pereira: Yeah.

Track 1: whoa. And like, I got it. And it's so interesting. I have not met read Marianne's work yet, but, um, Yeah, I remember when I read that book and I talked to it, talk about it to people. It's either that they love it or hate it. They either get it and it changed everything for them, or it's too soon for people to understand it.

Um, but yeah. For you, so you had this work that was, well you called it a life vest or something like

Michael Pereira: Yeah, it was my life vest. It was definitely my life vest. And a and a a Return to love is what Maryanne would say of her own self. O of the book is it's the cliff notes to a Course Miracles. And Course Miracles is [00:19:00] not a religion. There is no dogma. It doesn't claim truth. That it's the only truth. It is just, you know, the universal spiritual principles. It just happens to use the symbology of Christianity of Christ and the Holy Spirit and God. But they are just But symbols,

Track 1: Mm-hmm. . Yeah. Um, and so actually I haven't had anyone talk about the Course in Miracles yet on the show, and so I kind of wanna explore that a little bit more. I am familiar with the Course in Miracles. I have not full on. And studied it myself though. I'm literally looking at it on my bookshelf right now.

Michael Pereira: Beautiful Blue

Track 1: I've looked at pieces.

Michael Pereira: Yeah.

Track 1: A beautiful blue book. Looks like a Bible, y'all, um, , although I would argue maybe has like a higher frequency in it. I don't know. We'll,

Michael Pereira: Well, what it is is that it was, uh, Helen Shukman, um, [00:20:00] was a psychology professor. At, uh, Columbia University in the seventies, and she started channeling the voice of God, of, of, sorry, not of God, of Jesus. And she said to her, uh, officemate, who was also a psychology professor, and there was a lot of turmoil going on between the two of them. She said, I think I'm having a psychotic break. I'm hearing this voice. He said, well, what does, what does the voice say? And she said, the voice says, take notes. This is a course of miracles. And he goes, maybe you should take notes. And this is completely dictated through this voice, the course of miracles, the entire text, and the 365 days of lessons, and then the manual for teachers completely. [00:21:00] She just transcribed what she heard.

Track 1: Hmm. And so how has that text then changed your life? And I know that you, you're very much the, well, I would call you the miracle guy,

Michael Pereira: I love that.

Track 1: if others would call it that, but I know that is kind of your brand. And we've had conversations before about miracles just being part of life. Um, but I guess how did that book influence you and your understanding of life and spirituality and even your work now?

Michael Pereira: Well, this is there. To me, it was this idea, belief of love, of the power of love, that only love exists. Nothing real can be threatened. Nothing unreal exists. This is where peace lives, and I really resonated with. When we [00:22:00] look through the lens of love, then miracles happen in our lives and that miracles are birthright. And when we're not experiencing miracles, it is our focus on fear, right? So, and a miracle is, I think so many people confuse miracles. With like a supernatural event, right? Uh, for example, like what happened in Fatima in Portugal in the early 19 hundreds, right? Yes. That is a miracle, but everything is a miracle. You know, the sunlight coming through the skylight is a miracle. The ocean outside is a miracle. The, it's a miracle that the orange grew and that I could go and buy the orange and squeeze it and now drink it. That is [00:23:00] all a miracle. So whatever we focus on expands. If we focus on the love and the possibility and this perception of, um, of, of love, really, cuz all of it is an act of love. Or if we focus on the fear, the lack. Whatever we choose is going to be our experience. And of course, a miracle says there are only two emotions, fear and love. You can boil everything down to love or you can boil everything down to fear. And when you're in fear, you're in your, you're not in your right mind. And fear is a product of the ego. The ego is the small separate voice in our head, in our minds. That, uh, is a scavenger dog. It is always looking for fault. If it's not your fault, it's my fault. And it's number one job is seek at never [00:24:00] find. So it keeps us on this dull, uh, rollercoaster or merry-go-round of, of pain. But it wants it to be dull because if it's too painful, we'll wake up. We'll, we'll think of something else. We'll try and choose something else. Um,

so,

Track 1: is what happened

Michael Pereira: pardon me.

Track 1: which is

Michael Pereira: Exactly. Yeah. It was so deep. I couldn't, it was so painful. I had to choose something else. And I think that's most of, most of people's experiences, right. Having to hit rock bottom, then you have nowhere to go. But what I do also love about a course of miracles is it says that we can either learn through pain or through joy. It is our choice.

Track 1: I think a lot of humans are choosing pain and [00:25:00] choose separation. I mean, look, we are beings of infinite light. Love is our essence, the choose to come into a body in this lifetime, have a physical form, have an experience, you know, learn lessons, that kind of thing.

This density here is really about the illusion of separation. And so it's either you're in alignment with love and there's ways of saying this in alignment with your higher self, with your source, with your creator, or you're not. And that's just how it works,

Michael Pereira: But that's also the ego's. That's the ego's big job, is to make us believe in separation. That's your clump of molecules over there. And this is my clump of molecules over here, and we are not connected, right? But the reality is

there's no really where I begin and you begin right where I stop and you begin. We are all interconnected with everything and everybody. But the ego wants

us to be separate [00:26:00] so we can, it can feed on that fear.

Track 1: Right. And I think this is a huge lesson here for everyone listening, is that our world is moving through shifts in consciousness, toward love. So this balance of fear and love is what's really shifting. Um, you know, people think that the opposite of love is hate, and that's not true. It is love or not love.

And the opposite of it is fear. The opposite of it is feeling cut off not knowing, right? That's the, that is fear. And if you look at our world, there is a lot both coming up internally inside of people and the collective that needs to be purged. A lot of generations and eons of fear, manipulation, control, but fear.

And we're seeing that.

Um, but I feel like this important lesson that you are sharing in this moment for me and for listeners, or I wanna pull this out, is that miracles are happening whether you're looking at them or not.

Michael Pereira: All the time [00:27:00] they, this is the thing that I think is also really beautiful, is that the first, I think probably five pages of a Course of Miracles is. What about miracles and the number one? First one is there is no order in difficulty in miracles. One miracle is not harder or bigger than another, so it is there all the time. And miracles are natural expressions of love. If miracles are not happening, then you are out of alignment, period. They are there. You are not manifesting them. I'm not manifesting them. They exist always all the time. And furthermore, the universe, God, Jesus, Buddha, Muhammad, Allah, whoever you believe in, loves you so much, so much that if by chance [00:28:00] you do block a miracle, it holds it in trust for you waiting until you are ready to receive it. Talk about Wow.

Track 1: Was that the woman on the train for you, you think?

Michael Pereira: Um, the woman on the train, Uhhuh, I never thought about what she was. Um, I mean, to me, I always thought that she was an angel. Specifically because she appeared, she spoke to me like that. She handed me a book. I looked at the book, I looked back and she was gone. But she definitely was a miracle. I mean, for sure. For sure. So,

I just think the universe was like, [00:29:00] bro, you're in trouble. Like, we need, we, we

Track 1: Your

Michael Pereira: Like Molly, Molly, you in trouble, girl is like, you know, you need some help. And I was so desperate, right? I was so broken or broken open that I could hear it perhaps, perhaps. I don't know if it was hold, if the universe was holding it for me, if I had blocked it before, perhaps, but I definitely think it was an angel, a miracle, whatever you wanna call it.

And I mean, and, and of course Miracle says that angels are just the thoughts of God. Right. Or the thoughts of the universe.

Track 1: The question I wanna know is, how do you know when you are, in alignment with my higher self when I'm in alignment with source?

And maybe you have a specific moment you can think of, but how do you know when you're in that alignment state?

Michael Pereira: I think because I was so, um, [00:30:00] I was a professional dancer and worked so much with the body and taught people to dance and, and to sing that I always, I always want to come back to the body because. That is when you can feel, actually, feel on a physiological level if you are in alignment or not. Because if we only use this, I, I, I, I personally don't think it's enough, right? This will lie to us, left, right, and center our bodies.

Track 1: He is pointing to his head, his mind.

Michael Pereira: Oh, okay. Yes, I'm to my mind, yeah, but, and if you go to your body, your body literally does not have the capacity to lie. And scientifically, there are more neural pathways from our bodies to our brains than from our brains to our bodies. Yet we are only ever paying attention up here in the brain. [00:31:00] So how do you know when you are in alignment? Your body is relaxed. You're not in tension. Your shoulders are not tight. You're not clenching your, uh, your, your butt cheeks, your No, but I'm serious. Right? Cause so many people just hold on for dear life on their tailbone, right? You're, you can breathe. You. That is, that's I think where it really starts. You can, you can act your way into a new way of thinking, better than you can think your way into a new way of acting. So when you are in a alignment, you are in ease. You are in flow, and people talk about flow all the time. But I think it starts in a physiological way, [00:32:00] in a physical way. You can, you literally can feel if you have anxiety or not. person, you know, senses it differently in the body. It can be tightness or nervousness or heat or, or whatever that means to you. But it's always for me to go back into the body, going back into love and love, not in a romantic Disney way, but love for our own selves and love for other beings. And in that, that is ease, that is relaxation. That is what people call quote unquote, being grounded or anchored. It must start in the body. So many people these days I feel like want to to to become spiritual by going up, by ascending. I [00:33:00] believe that it's about going in and down. It's got to start inside of ourselves. I don't think it's up and out. I think it's in and down. All of our answers are inside, you know, and this is what I have learned through all of the modalities or what the, the kids these days are calling the lineages. You're right. So Gurus and Dalai Lamas and, uh, course miracles and yoga, and. And Alexander technique and all of the things, it has to start with us. Maryanne says something that's so brilliant that I, I say at the beginning of every one of my breath work classes. As we liberate ourselves, our presence automatically liberates others. So we have to be it. We have to embody it. I mean, [00:34:00] that's like a quote unquote such a word these days embodied. But it has to be in our own selves in a sensorial, physical way. The mental is not enough.

Track 1: Yeah. Yeah, that message is very aquarium. Uh, I mean it, that is the net the. Innate nature of Aquarius energy is as I honor me, so do I honor you right? As I liberate myself, I give you the potential and the opportunity to do the same for you. I do wanna circle back because, um, I do think that there's a really important point about disembodiment, and I would say that most humans are disembodied at some level.

If you took, if you just listened to your breath as. Well, I guess you're listening to this podcast right now, but paying attention to your body in this moment or doing it after, you're pretty much gonna be able to gauge whether or not you're aware of what's going on in your body or not. And most humans are dreadfully [00:35:00] not.

Michael Pereira: Yes.

Track 1: And for me, on my spiritual journey for sure, the biggest, um, I mean, There's a piece where like, oh, the light bulb goes off in the brain. Oh, we're this, I have this new thought or this new perspective on reality that now shifts everything. And so that was, you know, kind of your dark night was having this.

But the, the journey from head to heart into the body, like truly into the body is a long one for a lot of people. It was for me, and the practices of yoga in particular were the most useful for me. And, and most beneficial for me was restorative and yin where I was very still and became very aware of my body of sensations in the body, all this kind of stuff.

So people ask me like, well, how do you channel or how do you know? Or how do you know when you're in alignment with source or higher self, whatever. It's all physical for me. I, I mean, look, we're souls that came into physical bodies. The way we interact with our [00:36:00] reality is through the physical bodies. So to keep thinking, I'm of the mind, or let's go put our brain into the metaverse, let's keep detaching ourselves from this physical form and all the ways that are happening on planet Earth right now is quite dangerous spiritually, and you can't ascend.

Spiritually by coming out of your body. I'm not just gonna meditate on a mountaintop all day until my soul leaves the body. That's actually incorrect. It's not really what you're doing here.

When my intuition, like I feel it in the back of my head. I know when Jesus comes in, cuz he comes in a very specific spot.

I feel all kinds in my body. I mean, my digestive system is incredibly sensitive. I know what's going on in my lower abdomen, in the chest, heart, all of it at all times. And even. You know, not even, I guess that's the greatest gift that we have are these bodies, and yet most humans are absolutely not honoring their bodies at all.

Um, but it's the body that is the gift because it's the communicator with the [00:37:00] divine. And our d n A itself is God's light encoded inside of our bodies. Um, but we need them to communicate. , I continue to always learn about the mastery of my body and the messaging that it's giving me.

Michael Pereira: I believe that our bodies are spirit made manifest, right? And to me, there is a divine GPS system always pushing us, always leading us to our most authentic self. Because that authenticity is where love resides, and as we said already, love is the medium of miracles and it's about saying, okay, how am I feeling feeling this? Not, I'm not sure, or I'm feeling happy, or I'm feeling sad, I'm feeling tired. What are the actual sensations? My heart, [00:38:00] my chest feels tight. It's, uh, my belly's hot, uh, my solar plexus is grumbling. And then diving into those feelings, going deeper and deeper into them making space, and then asking that, that sensation, what is here? What is actually behind this? Why am I

feeling this way? Because. It goes down to like, we are of course spiritual beings, but we are also part of the earth, right? We are part of nature. And nature has this natural, uh, attraction to things and repulsion to things. And when we're really tuned into our body, again, that is spirit made manifest. We can start sensing, go this way, go that way. Go forward, go back, stop. [00:39:00] All of those things because there's always a guidance leading us here.

Track 1: And I think the other piece I wanted to share here too is just this idea about ascension and the ascension of humanity, which is very much what we're in our lifetimes are showing us this, this, and what ascension is, is about moving from lower frequencies, lower density, and into higher and existing in well love, um, But it is a body process.

It is a process of the body. So people will talk about spiritual ascension, like we're somehow leaving this third dimensional plane and going to the 5G realm, which is not physical. That's also incorrect. The fifth dimension is physical, and the dimension shifts. They're actually just differences in frequency, which people don't really understand.

But this whole process is a process of the body. You have to think about this miracle we're actually living in, because if I wanted to be disembodied spirit, I would die and leave the body go [00:40:00] back to whatever realm we exist in prior to this, but what's being presented to humanity and to earth at this time.

Is the ability to sh or the potential, well, it's gonna happen, but we're shifting from one density, one frequency to a higher density or frequency in the same, well, it'll be different. But in a, in the physical body, our d n A is shifting, our physics are shifting literally the trauma and the darkness and whatever inside of our d n a inside of our physical form is getting purged and released.

And like for me yesterday, Well, we hear of these things about light codes coming in and solar flares and all these things that are somehow gonna like shift us into higher frequency or they can if you utilize those, but it's a physical thing. I know yesterday for me, I had to surrender. I had things I wanted to get done but could not, my body was completely exhausted.

I, it was interesting because I [00:41:00] decided to go to an area on the island here that, um, Looked cloudy and is notoriously cloudy cuz I thought I need to get out of the sun. It's like too much for me right now. And then the clouds moved. So my guides are like, no, actually you need the sun because this ascension process is coming.

It's natural, it's happening through

Michael Pereira: Yeah.

Track 1: Light coming from our source, the sun that is shifting and changing our physical form. If we can choose well, if we can

Michael Pereira: right.

Track 1: accurately or.

Michael Pereira: Of course. Miracle says that light. Is understanding, right? The light of God, the light of Christ, the light of the Holy Spirit, or whatever you wanna call it, the light of the universe is an essence. Understanding, and light is, uh, I'm sorry, fe love is to fear the way that light is to darkness, right?

Darkness is not a thing. It is an absence [00:42:00] of a thing. Fear is not a thing. It is an absence of a thing. Turn on the light and the darkness disappears. Turn on your own. Love. The fear disappears.

Track 1: Hmm. Beautiful. So do you think that you've discovered your soul's purpose?

Michael Pereira: Um, yes. I laugh because. Uh, I laugh because Cameron and I have spoken about it personally, and it's interesting to me that my soul's purpose is the thing that actually scares me the most right now, and that that is a sign that I'm in the right direction. Cuz if it wasn't so scary, I don't think [00:43:00] it would be so important.

Track 1: What do you think it means to live with purpose?

Michael Pereira: That's a good question to live with purpose.

Track 1: I think it's a good question too. It's my ask my guest,

Michael Pereira: To live to live and love to, to love humanity, to love yourself, to love when it's hard to love. It's super easy to love when everyone's doing and saying whatever you, what you want them to do. It's harder to love when they're not agreeing with you. It's still, it's still [00:44:00] the highest purpose is to live with love.

No, it doesn't mean that you accept everything. Sometimes love says no. You know, A course in Miracle says that we don't enter. The Kingdom of Heaven, one by one. We enter two by two. And that is through

love. And it can be as simple as a smile to a stranger, uh, a, a kind word to the teller at the, you know, the cashier. It can be listening to someone. It can be protecting someone, protecting yourself. Living on purpose is living every, as much as you can, every moment in love.

Track 1: Beautiful, and that's where we will conclude our conversation. Thank you so much,

Michael Pereira: My

Track 1: for being here with me today if you'd like. Yeah, if [00:45:00] you'd like to connect with Michael or his work, you can find a link in the show notes, uh, to connect with him.

Michael Pereira: Thank you.

thank you, Cameron.

My mission on this planet is to support spiritually awakening humans in discovering their soul's purpose. And I know that if you're listening to this episode, discovering your purpose matters to you too. And I also know that sometimes it can feel like the spiritual journey is never ending, and that our purpose is some far off thing, but there's no need to waste precious time living without clarity and alignment.

Living with purpose can start right now. So if you're struggling to figure out what your purpose is, and as a result you're feeling frustrated, uncertain, or maybe even a little lost, then I invite you to stop spinning your wheels. Life is way too precious and you are too important. I've created an easy way for you to recenter and reconnect with your path.

I've created a sole purpose illumination session for people who are [00:46:00] driven to know their soul's purpose. So if this is you, I invite you to book a session.

You can find the link to book this session with me in the show notes.

I'm grateful to share this episode and time with you, my listeners. And I want you to know that our time together does not have to end here. I've also created an online community where spiritually awakening people can receive my support and guidance and connect with others as they discover their own unique paths to living their soul's purpose.

Look for the link in the show notes to learn more about the path and purpose, community support, connection, and inspiration for your journey. It's all inside.

A special thanks to this week's guest for sharing their journey with us. And I want to thank you for listening to today's episode. My name is Dr. Cameron Martin, and it has been my honor to serve you on your journey of self-discovery. See you next time.
