Sometimes in life, we move through a moments that really crack us open that invite us to look deeply within ourselves and discover something that maybe we didn't know was there before. We might recognize an old pattern. We might become [00:02:00] aware of an old tendency. Sometimes these look like beginnings.

Or endings or something dramatic happening. Today, I'm in Romania and I'm actually on a spiritual retreat and I had one of these moments today. And my guest on today's episode speaks about an eggshell cracking a moment. Uh, these are moments in life where the shell that maybe we thought kept us safe and protected cracks open. Because it's Time for a job that's holding us back to end or relationship that isn't serving our highest come to a completion Or maybe Something we thought we knew about ourselves wasn't exactly the case today for me i went on a hike and while i was there Um it was a Guided experience But while i was there I. i realized An aspect of my soul from a past life and a [00:03:00] pattern that was playing out in this one now i didn't really know this it was very emotional Uh and for me i would call this an egg shell cracking moment. A moment where i really realized something about my inner being about my inner most self That is going to change things for me[00:04:00] on this episode of the podcast, I'm here with Barbara Sneider. So excited to be here. We're actually in her house today, um, because I'm staying with her as I prepare for my trip to Romania. So I'm so excited to, um, share this time and space with Barbara. Um, Barbara is an integrated wellness coach, nutritionist, and intuitive guide who's passionate about helping people achieve health and wellness through a variety of healing modalities.

Through nutrition, years of hydration, coaching, meditation, and energy work. She wholeheartedly believes in taking a holistic approach to healing mind, body, and spirit. And there's so much that we're gonna talk about in this episode. So I'm really excited to have [00:05:00] Amen. Barbara. Barbara, welcome. Thank you so much, cam, I'm excited to do this with you.

Yeah, likewise. So we'll just jump right in with question number one. And that's what mark, your spiritual journey. Whoa. Those are always heavy. Um, Um, for me, about 10 and a half years ago, I, um, had a marital dismantling. I would say I was married to my best friend and, um, he came to me and said, I love you, but I gotta go.

And that was just like what I call an eggshell cracking moment. You think now what? What's my life gonna be like? And little do you know that you have a lot of magic and miracles in store from those blessings in disguise. That got me started on exploring and I met my first energy healer and started working on awareness and trusting my intuition and [00:06:00] realizing that we're never alone in those moments where you feel like you are.

And, uh, before I knew it, like I said, I just, um, . I just knew that there was more to the story and that things that happened to us aren't really happening to us. They're happening for us. And that got me on the path of one step at a time, trying to figure out how to feel better inside of me instead of what's going on out there.

Mm-hmm. , you know? And would you have considered yourself spiritual prior to that or not really? You know, that's a great question because I was born, um, in a. Uh, reformed Jewish family. So we kept all the traditions, we did all the holidays. We went to Temple and the Jewish holidays. But I think to me, spiritual was sort of, you know, praying at the temple and following the prayers in the book.

And I, maybe just because I was so young, I never really [00:07:00] reflected much on what that meant. Mm-hmm. , and that's really one of the biggest awakenings I would say now because I. While discovering the bigger picture of spirituality, I realized that, you know, all religions, all cultures are really almost, I wanna say, praying to the same energy source.

They just call it something or someone different. Um, . Yeah. God, Allah, Yahweh, all these, yeah. Adonai. And you know, again, depends on how you're brought up, right? So for me, that's what spirituality meant, right? Tuning in and praying for the things you want and, and getting together with your family and, and all of those things.

I can look back now and realize I was spiritual. I just didn't call it that. You know, I never really stopped to. Think about it. I went through the motions of what my family was doing without really questioning why I was doing it [00:08:00] until this egg cracking moment, egg shell cracking moment. Those things, those moments where, you know, you can't glue the pieces back together.

You just gotta to take a deep breath and, and look forward. And so then from that moment, in that journey forward, what were the different tools, modalities, and my God, I know this list is long, but what What, yeah, what sort of things were you attracted to and what sort of happened next? Well, like I said, I, I, you know, if there's never an accident, I ended up meeting my first ever like energy healer that, you know, called herself that worked that way and she started doing sort of like monthly meetings with me and I.

You know, at the time I was going to, you know, traditional therapy and not really feeling like I was getting anywhere with it. So I weaned myself off of the, you know, traditional talk therapy and started realizing I just felt so much more movement when I worked with her. And so I started working [00:09:00] with her, um, for about a year or so, and she's the one who.

Taught me or reminded me that we're not crazy when we're hearing things right? I started hearing voices. I started having very vivid dreams. Um, I knew things and then I would cry, like thinking I was going crazy from the stress. I thought, how do I know this? Who's teaching? Who's telling me this? I would look up crying in, in complete distress, like, Something's wrong, but she came into my life, I believe, to give me the confidence to know that I'm not crazy.

Um, this inner knowing that you have that voice, you hear, it's your, your own intuition, your your own spirit guides, you know, all these words that. Back then I would like roll my eyes at you and go, huh, Like, what are you talking about? Right. I didn't grow up with that language. Mm. Um, so I would say, you know, she came into my life, [00:10:00] um, to let me know that I could listen to that inner guidance and that I wasn't crazy.

And from that, interestingly enough, I think it's like school. You, you know, kindergarten's hard until you get through it. And then you go first grade, second grade, there's just, you keep . being new and like fearful of what you don't know. And then you get through it and you look back and go, I got it. Right.

Not a big deal. So she and I, I would say, you know, completed our, our lessons about a year and a half into working together and she just looked at me and said, Barb, you have all the tools that I can give you, and I just, you know, I don't have more to give you. It was like I outgrew or I graduated that

Those lessons that she had to give and, you know, no accidents, right? You stumble into other experiences and opportunities and started working with an intuitive astrologer. Funny enough, no. [00:11:00] Have you two , um, started meeting, you know, people that I really feel are like angels that show up in our lives. You know, everyone does what they do, and you just have to be ready to receive it.

Hmm. You know, sometimes all those tugs and pushes and pulls are there for you, but you're not willing or ready to look and listen. So I think this, this spiritual path for me has taught me to just sit and observe better than before. Right. Should happen. Excuse my French. Right. Challenges don't go away, but.

the more tools you have in your pocket, and in this case, spiritual tools. Right. It's like you navigate your challenges more gracefully. Yeah. Right? It's that these moments or opportunities are really catalyst for spiritual growth. Not everybody sees it that way. Right? Exactly. Oh my God, my, this has just happened, [00:12:00] or my relationship is over, or I lost my job, or whatever.

Yeah. Or he did this, she did that. Right. Pointing fingers when in truth. Mm-hmm. . Those are opportunities that our soul has essentially set ourselves up for, to look within, to discover our truth, to discover strength. And I know it feels like kind of, oh my God, I'm going through this again, . But ultimately those are the moments that, um, that push us to know our true selves.

So I'm really curious when you talk about feeling aligned with the voices, but your higher self, what is that like for you? What is the experience of. Knowing, or what is the experience of you knowing when you're in alignment with your higher self? Right? So now I have more confidence in being able to tune into that.

Right? Before it was like, wait, I'm crazy. How do I know this? And now again, I just, first of all, you get those visceral moments of like, you know, goosebumps and just sometimes tears come when you just know you're in your truth. Right? Things . [00:13:00] Almost confirm. It's like the energy is there to say to you, yes, keep going.

Right? Um, I don't know if that answers your question. Feel like a yes. Within, yeah. It's like, you know, an opportunity shows up, you have to make a decision and you're like, do this. And you're like, do I do this? Do I do that? And when, you know, you know, And that's, that's what I'm saying, switched from the beginning because I think most of us begin with all this noise in our heads and we don't know who or what to listen to.

Right? So many people, so many, so much outside, in, outside influence, right? Like noise. And I think the more spiritual, um, tools I've acquired, the more experience I've, um, gained through this journey. It's like, You see the signs more clearly, you hear the voices more loudly. Um, and I tell people [00:14:00] I'm, I'm, I would say like, um, clear cognizant.

It's like you just know. You don't know how, you know, but you know, and you feel it. And, and there's just a truth to it. . So there's resonance for me, um, with Claire Cognizant. So when I was sort of developing spiritually, uh, I've always trusted my mind, um, because I've always been a pretty intelligent human being and worked really hard and studied and all that stuff.

So it's like when I, and honestly, I think my mom would even say as a child, I've always had a very strong, like true north. Like, go ahead and try to tell me to do something that I don't want to do. 'cause it isn't gonna work, . Um, so I've always had this like, strong sense of who I am and what's right or what's not for me.

But anyway, one of the, the things that I discovered too is this sense of clear cognizant, which for those who are listening and maybe don't know what that is, it's this, these knowings, um, [00:15:00] you know, there are other, Claire's, Claire audience, Claire Sentience, Claire Clairvoyance, Voyance, um, which you're all, you know, seeing or, or knowing or hearing a Claire audience is hearing, I actually also heard voices for much of my life.

I thought that things were like going on in my head. I still do. I hear like people talking in my head, I'm like, what the hell are you guys doing? ? Who's that? Who, who's like, I'm on a subway train and there's like a voice, you know, people in the corner that I don't care to listen to kind of thing. Yeah. Um,

Anyway. I've had that even as a child. I remember thinking, yeah, there's like a TV show in my head and I don't even know what's going on. But I never thought that was weird. But the clear calm, you never felt like you were nuts. 'cause that was my first like, oh my God, the stress is driving you mad. No, but I have said like, could you shut up because like, I wanna sleep or do something else.

Mm-hmm. . Um, now I realize, I mean, I don't know exactly what I'm picking up on spirits or source or something, but I. You know, I didn't hear that. But for me too, the clear [00:16:00] cognizance, the clear knowing, the clear like, oh, this is what I know. And for me it kind of like drops in, in the mind. Uh, it's not really the mind.

I feel it more in the front of the head then I just know. And, um, we were kind of talking about this the other night when maybe I knew something was aligned or not aligned, and I went and did it anyway. So it's not that bad. I just decided to like hang out with friends when I wanted to lay on the couch.

Oh, right. . I just had the clear knowing that, Hmm, I don't really wanna do that. And then it turned out at the end of the night, it was like, yeah, you knew you shoulda listened, , you knew. And it wasn't bad. Nothing terrible happened, of course, but it was just these knowings and I often walked down the street and know, like, don't go there or whatever.

I've always, but I've always trusted my mind to guide me. So for me, I'm wondering if that, It's also true for you. 'cause I knew my mind was strong, so like if I know something, that's it. Yeah, no, like I said, I, I think at the beginning I actually didn't trust [00:17:00] any of the guidance I was getting. I didn't really understand that we had that inner guidance.

I never, um, stopped to actually listen in the positive sense. Right. Um, and now I even have conversations, like you said, I mean, I don't always know who I'm speaking to, but I know they're my guides. They're here to support me. And I will look up sometimes and say, I don't understand. Can you show me or can you show me the way?

Right. Or, you know, when you need something. I know. No, we can ask or support. We're not alone. Um, and it's not the kind of ask like, get on your knees and pray for, you know, winning the lottery kind of stuff. It's in here. Right. I, I, I, I'm confused, or I'm afraid, or who's gonna help me? Like how do I do this?

You know? Just show me, show me. Because it really comes down to that, and I say this to my clients too, it's like, [00:18:00] we're not broken and no one's gonna fix it for you. You are in the driver's seat and all of these, you know, I know we'll share more about these things that I do and share, but it's . All these are tools to help us navigate the journey for us to do the work for us to discover and uncover what's trying to come through.

Mm-hmm. , right? When, um, you talk about, and when I think about connection with our higher self, our guides, our angels, our team, our ancestors, the beings that around us, whatever resonates for you. Um, People ask me like, well, how, how are you so intuitive? Or how do you hear these things or know these things?

It's like, well, I've actually cultivated a relationship with myself and with these beings that I do trust. Um, whether sometimes that's what I think of as God or Jesus, the person of Jesus, or sometimes it's an ancestor or sometimes it's, I honestly have no idea, but you can cultivate. What I've discovered along my journey is that you can cultivate this [00:19:00] relationship in such a way that is like an everyday

Constant, frankly, occurrence. It's part of your life. Part of my life. That's how you're, so people talk about, honestly, when I, people ask me about meditation for one, and they're like, oh, I can't meditate. My mind's too busy. This is too that. I'm like, yo, meditation is as simple as hanging out with yourself.

That's all you're doing. Well, I'd love to share about that because this first healer I told you about, I never again knew I was meditating or tried to meditate. Didn't even use that word really before all this stuff occurred. In one of our first few sessions, she asked me, you know, do you take baths? And I literally laughed out loud because at the time I had, you know, young teenagers, I'm like, who has the time for a bath?

I bring that up because once she finally nudged me hard enough to be like, Barb, here are the salts. Go take a bath. You know, do this. Whoa. That became what I believed to be my first experience with [00:20:00] hearing. You, it's like turning off your phone, getting in the tub, feeling like you're in the womb, in this warm water, and you're finally in the quiet so you can hear.

Mm-hmm. And it's like, I just started having conversations with myself or my guides. And again, I didn't label it. I didn't . You know, put it into categories. Then I just knew that, I felt, what I now understand is this meditative energy, right? It's just tuning in and closing your eyes and hearing the guidance and knowing things, knowing, getting your downloads like, oh, I wanna do this, or I feel this.

Right. Um, or just crying and letting it all out. So I would say that the bath for me was my first tool. Mm-hmm. in learning how to meditate. And I tell my clients this too, when, like you said, you don't have to sit like this and go, oh, [00:21:00] to meditate. Right. All of us have Yeah. If you want to, but it's not, you can, you can and many do.

Right. But to me, meditation is allowing yourself to look in. Yeah. To be or listen? Just to be. Yeah. It could be on a walk, it could be sitting at the beach. Right. Um, even moments like this could be meditative. Right. Um, I like to do collage art sometimes, and you just get into your, what you're doing. It's like just getting outta your normal routine to me is a beautiful healing way to meditate.

Yeah. Would you create these spaces to just be present and. . Yeah. Back to the relationship with sort of our guides, our higher self. You know, this is something you can cultivate in daily life, I'm sure that you do too. I do not just call on help. Anytime I'm stressed and anxious. I call on help. When I'm looking for a good parking spot, I call on help.

When I need to find a hotel at a good price, I need call on help when it may seem really silly and those are not, uh, they [00:22:00] might even seem trivial, but they're not because. Or should I be going to this place or show me what street I should be going? Should I be having steak or a seafood or just plants today?

Yeah. Should I be eating products or just plants? Um, and I know some of those things sound trivial, but actually over time what I've come to understand is what my relationship to them or my higher self or my guidance . Is so when things are challenging and I'm asking for help, I'm much more receptive to seeing the signs when I ask the parking angels, whatever my guides to make a good parking spot for me.

And then I always have one. Well, like that shit didn't just happen and something I doing. And those moments moments you look up and say, thank you. Yeah. I say thank you. I know that they're doing stuff. Yeah. When I am running super late to the airport and I basically pray that I'm not gonna miss my flight, but I don't rush and I don't freak out, all of a sudden it gets delayed 20 minutes.

Like cool. [00:23:00] Yeah, but that's not, it's not random. Mm-hmm. Um, anyway, so even in normal life, we can cultivate. This relationship as if anybody else in your life, a friend. Otherwise, I think when you live a spiritual or spiritually connected life, right? 'cause again, it's not one way for anybody. Um, it's just, it's becomes who you are, right?

Like you said, you're living it, you're not doing it right. You're not. Some people will say, okay, well, should I meditate more often? How long should I meditate? Right? Or they'll say, should I get off? Dairy, should I get off meat? Should I be, you know, there's no should. There's no should because some people need meat.

Some people don't need meat. Some people, right? Um, drink coffee. Some people don't drink coffee. There's no right or wrong. There's just what is, and I say that often to people because I think we're all so used to having a plan and a list and, uh, and you know, this is the right way, that's the wrong way, and [00:24:00] I.

I kind of do this to that. I'm like, there is no right or wrong way. It's your way and you're gonna find your way as you step in and explore, um, what's possible. Yeah. And so it's really not about doing spirituality, it really comes from state of being. I have a friend that I would love to share this. Um, he always said, Barb, we are not called human doing.

We're called human beings and we have to remember that. 'cause all of us are doing, doing, doing, doing. And we just have to be mm-hmm. and then more gets done. . Right. Do less, accomplish more . That's right. Um, so I do wanna talk about more of the doings though, on your brain because there were many more. Yes.

More fewer, more teachers, more, more things did happen for you. Yeah. And now, Something is , and I'm not gonna ask you to share everything, but you can share something. So your spiritual journey has led to probably [00:25:00] a place you didn't expect. Mm-hmm. I never thought I'd live, think, breathe, do anything that I'm doing right now, to be honest.

I feel like those, as we joked, those eggshell cracking moments, which are clearly no joke, but those moments where life forces you to stop and listen, right? For some people it's an illness. For some people it's a divorce. For some people, it's an accident. It doesn't matter. I always say that that trauma has to just be hard enough to make you stop and redirect.

And for me, like you said, that redirect, um, It got me to , seemingly run into all of these beautiful people, tools, experiences, opportunities. That became the stepping stones for this journey, right? And I began at the very beginning, um, sharing what I was doing, right? If I end up having an incredible reading or session with you, [00:26:00] or you're my coach and I'm really feeling the transformation, how selfish would it be if I don't share that?

So very early in I started, I started sharing what was possible and saying, Hey, this healer's coming to my house. Do you wanna come too? Or We're gonna do a group. Let's do this. You know, sound bath or meditation or healing sessions. It didn't really matter what it was. It was just anything that could help and.

I began hearing and seeing the guidance. I tell people I felt like my hand was being pulled the whole time. It was like, I'm not doing this, but I am the bridge that you're gonna cross to get to where you're going. And I began sharing more and more here in my home. And before I knew it, people were asking me to bring their friends and their friends.

And it's been five and a half years or so now, we've had thousands. Multiple thousands of people through my house, [00:27:00] um, feeling the transformation. And that really inspired me. And I know we're gonna talk about your path and purpose. It's, it showed me what I was here to do. Um, and we never know the full story, right?

We're always, we're always growing. Um, you don't have a hundred percent clarity on what that may look like, or at least I don't. , but I know I'm here to guide others and to share what's possible. And I began feeling and knowing that it, this program had to leave my home. It couldn't stay here forever because it also felt selfish in that way.

Only people who knew Barbara could access these opportunities or friends of Barbara's friends. And, um, I thought, you know, this is my home. I can only do so much here. It's limited. So, I felt at the beginning that I was going to be maybe opening up a wellness center. Um, I think you mentioned [00:28:00] in my intro, I'm a nutritionist, I'm a hydration coach.

I really, really believe that wellness is multifaceted, right? It's body, mind, and spirit. It's never one thing. You could look cute in your bikini and have toxic thoughts, and that means you're still not well. Mm-hmm. , right? It goes from inside out, not outside in. Even though we all wanna look cute on the outside.

But I believe that when you work, some of us look really cute, , you know, it's, I do believe that it comes from inside and we're here to clear debris. And so I began sharing more and more. And then about three years ago, I would say around Covid time, I realized it wasn't meant to be just a place. That I'm going to be opening up.

And we started working on this vision of mine and the brand and the concept, and it's now, um, we're ready to, you know, start sharing this more publicly. Um, I [00:29:00] believe there's going to be locations like city centers that I call sort of like a soul gym. You go work different muscles like you do at the gym, but this is internal spiritual work.

And I believe there will be satellite locations all over the world for more immersive experiences like retreats and travel and, uh, guidance from I currently work. I think, you know, with healers from all over the world, people ask me how I met them, how I found them, and I stop and smile and I say, they just found me because back to this question of being in purpose, I believe when we're in alignment with what we're here to do, The pieces show up.

When I first said, wow, I'm gonna be opening up something public, it's not gonna stay in my home. Then I got all nervous and I was like, well, who's gonna help me? How do I know I'm not here to do this alone? Right. And in those baths, [00:30:00] and in those meditations, I really sat in there and I said, okay guys, if I'm doing this, show me my team.

And you know, people show up. People like you, people like the healers I work with now, they're like, how can I help? I've had clients come out of a room after a body work session or something and say, oh, I hear you're developing wellness centers. How can I help? And I'm like, you know, you just look up and you're like, thank you.

And I, I know if that answers your question, but it's like I knew there was more, I. Yeah. Well, do you think you're living your soul's purpose? I believe now I've gained the confidence in knowing that I'm exactly where I'm meant to be. Knowing that there's everything in divine timing. I used to, again, speaking of Covid, I was already starting to work on a pitch deck and the logo and the concept and the trademark, and all of a sudden we all get locked into quarantine and [00:31:00] everybody's like, uh oh.

Right. And I now look back and realize that was a pause that was given to me to be able to have less noise and distraction on the outside. Right. And go in and have the ability to . Continue creating that vision, and it really helped me expand my lenses to see how much more was possible in that original thought of a wellness center.

I now know it's much, much more than that. I believe it's gonna be a movement. I believe it's going to be something that shares what's possible with the world and anyone who's ready. And it is scary sometimes as we joke when we talk, it's like, Gosh, when you know you're on purpose, you know, it isn't just you doing this and you're doing this for the collective, you're doing this for everyone who's ready to show up for it.

And it does feel scary sometimes, but now, as we said [00:32:00] earlier, you get enough clues to where you stop questioning so much, meaning you don't become the skeptic anymore. You're like, oh yeah. Okay. I don't have all the answers, but I know I'm doing this. And so yes, I feel I'm on purpose because I'm open and I'm allowing now to be guided even more clearly and say, I mean, come on, we're talking about this next trip and two days we're flying to Romania.

Mm-hmm. and like what, I didn't even publicly announce this trip. Because I was told I'm here to take people to these lands. And I thought, oh, come on. I have a schedule. We all have things. You can't ask people to take two weeks off. And maybe for some it's too expensive, but you hear it in a way that you know, you are being told this is part of your mission, this is part of your path, and you look up and you move out of the way.

Mm-hmm. . And so I said, okay, this sounds crazy, . But [00:33:00] yes. You just have to say yes. And then pieces come together and it literally, and we know this yesterday, four days before we leave, someone called me and said, my soul knows it needs to go with you. Do you still have room? I'm like, hell yeah, we'll book another room.

And she got her tickets last night and we're leaving in two days. She's leaving on Friday. So my point here is when you're in alignment and you are open to listen to those signs, Just show up and things will come together in the way you're meant to. Yeah. You wanna talk about how a path can unfold? So , we met just a couple of months ago.

Oh my God. I know. At an event. And it was like, she saw me, she's talking to someone, was like, we need to talk. I'm like, yeah, I know. I could feel it. And then a few days later, I mean, I extended my trip, but we did a session. . had a couple of sessions together, but after my Q H H T session, the person [00:34:00] who wasn't was supposed to pick me up and bring me to the airport.

who's been on the podcast, , and I'm gonna call her out , you know who you are. She knows who she's, anyway, she's supposed to go pick me up. She didn't, 'cause she got stuck somewhere. And so Barbara's like, well, I'll take you to the airport. I'm like, okay, fine. And I had a haircut appointment and I. I ended up calling her and canceled.

Kind of blew it off. Yeah. Yeah, because I knew I was meant to be there with you. So we went to the airport, took like wrong turns, end up in departures when it's arrival, whatever. It was kind of, it was a little messy and I don't know, L a x doing a lot of construction over in their parking lots. So anyway, point is we get inside the terminal.

Well actually we're walking toward the terminal and Barbara goes, Hey, so I'm going, going, actually, she said, what are you doing September, whatever the days were . And I was like, I dunno. And she goes, well, I'm going to Romania. Do you wanna come on a trip? Or, I'm doing a retreat to Romania or something to that effect.

And it was just a moment where I was like, yeah, okay, . And we had just met like [00:35:00] that week. Yeah. I was like, okay. I. In this moment when I said, yes, I have no real concept of what it's gonna be. I don't know what we're gonna do. She has no itinerary. She doesn't even know how she's gonna like, oh, I didn't then she did.

Yeah, I didn't then in her mind she hadn't. She had an experience she knew was happening, but nothing was planned at the moment. The moment, except for just an idea, I said yes, and then, well, many of you probably know if you're on my list, that I'm traveling now for two months through Europe and Mexico. Um, several retreats and mostly it was just this saying yes.

You know what's funny? Your book ending your travels with . Both of my retreats. I know we're starting with Romanian, ending with two an ING thing is that neither one of the retreats I've seen the itineraries sort of, but I've like never read. And even my third, uh, the other retreat I'm going on this summer, I haven't really, I know sort of what's happening, but I just know it's a yes.

I did that and I went to Romania the first time. I just told the two healers that invited me. I said, okay, just tell me what to [00:36:00] pack. I never even looked at the itinerary. I honestly didn't. I would wake up every day and say, Hey, what are we doing today? Because you are in full trust, and that's your question.

When you know you're on your path and purpose, you just trust, you know you're there, you're present. Makes life a lot more fun. a lot more graceful, I would say a lot more graceful. Also. Many people probably hear it's like, holy shit, that's crazy. just up and do that. But. But ultimately for me it's years of listening to my own inner guidance and knowing what's true for me.

That it's easy when I just know it's a yes, it's a yes. And what I was saying to Barbara the other night when I know it's a no, I still know it's a no. I may not listen and that's my own problem, but the guidance is still there. Um, so anyway, I think that's kind of a, I think our relationship and how this even showed up is a pretty cool example of what living in.

Our truth looks like. Yeah. And you know, the healers that we're [00:37:00] going to Romania with, same thing happened with them. They're, they live in Spain. Uh, the husband is from Romania. And, um, what the wife was on a cruise with someone who knows me, who works with me. They mentioned Barbara, and they were like, is this Barbara Snyder?

And then she's like, can I, can you connect me with her? And we had a phone call and we were like, . Wait, like we know each other. Right? And then we did a Zoom. She's like, I want you to meet my husband. We did a Zoom. This was all during Covid and we did a Zoom and we didn't meet until in person until I think 2021 when they came here and stayed at my house for two weeks to do healing sessions, workshops.

And people were like, you're letting them stay at your house. And I was like, they feel like family. It's like you just know, you know them. And we are family. And they became teachers of mine and friends and colleagues and it's just [00:38:00] so beautiful. And that's why by the time people like you and I show up, we're like, oh, hi, there you are.

right? We were literally talking to different people, but we were looking at each other going. Hold on. Don't go anywhere We need to talk. And you're like, I know. . . Yeah. So then, and now you're here at my house. See, not everyone can stay here at my house, but , you know? Um, yeah. And you know, this is an example of what living in alignment looks like, I believe.

But what do you think prevents people from living their soul's purpose? I was gonna say fear, but I think there's so much more to it. It's, we talked about the noise that we hear and all the voices and the feelings and the tugs and the doubts and the fear and all of it put together. And you're not quite sure, like you said, how to discern and um, who do I listen to, right?

Like I have people saying to me, . [00:39:00] I know I'm supposed to be with you in Romania, but there's always an excuse, right? Whether it's money or time or whatever it is. I think what's in the way is trust. Um, life three D Life jobs, money, responsibilities, um, doubts, fears, all of it. I don't know if that's too broad of an answer, but it's like

It's much simpler when you start clearing the debris, right? Mm-hmm. , maybe that's the answer. It's there's this debris builds up through life. We pack it on as we go through our things, right? And our traumas and our fears and all of the emotions involved. And so for me, the reason why the healing work, the energy work, became so powerful, so transformative, was because

I see that as the clearing of the debris, right? People [00:40:00] know about cleansing your body of toxins, right? Drinking more water and all of those physical things you can do, but internally, energetically, emotionally, it's just as important to cleanse and clear. And I found that the more I did that, the more I practiced forgiving, or even just changing the perspective on what occurred, right?

Changing . how you look at what happened. Mm-hmm. , suddenly you just, like I said, it becomes like, it's like you have less weight in your backpack so you can navigate better and things show up faster and smoother because you're in that alignment. Um, and as I said before, I don't think there's one answer to what's in the challenge.

Right. For me personally, it was not knowing. not having been taught some of the things I know now. Right. I wish we could. I mean, I guess now that's where things are going. We we're, [00:41:00] kids are being exposed to this at a much younger age, right. My teenager, well my kids are now young adults, but when they were teenagers, this all started happening.

And of course everyone in the family looked at me like I was nuts. But now everyone's, I believe my kids are on their path now too because of, um, Observing how I was navigating this, right? How people looked at me and were like, how are you? Okay. Or, you know, why are you, you know, not more angry at him? And I was like, no, I, I, I love him.

And actually this was a blessing disguise. This is not, you know, he did this, this happened to both of us. Hmm. And that was a huge, huge gift for me is, um, learning to love from afar. Learning that, um, when something triggers you, when something angers you, there's something there for you to look at. It's not about what that person's doing [00:42:00] to make you angry or piss you off, right?

It's, uh, it's in you and they're just there to mirror it. And for you to. Again, if the noise isn't out there, you gotta, you've gotta look in. Right? I always say I was left alone in the quiet so that I could hear. Mm. In those moments, you have no distractions. Yeah. You have no choice in what to listen in the quiet so we can hear.

Certainly. Um, I resonate with that a lot. Um. I thought it was really interesting at the beginning of this conversation where she was like, this is my first podcast ever and I've never done this before. And I'm like, yeah, one of probably many, but I get to say that it happened first year. So yeah. . Thank you.

Thank you. Um, so be close. I'm just curious, what do you think it means to live with purpose? Ooh, again, it's not about the destination, [00:43:00] it's the journey. Uh, Living with purpose for me is not about building soul serenity, it's about who I am and who I'm becoming on the way to creating that vision, ugh. Makes me choke up thinking about it.
